Let's say an American company gets royalty. This company can invest the money in some other country or close down business and retire.

When manufacturing is done in USA, Americans will get jobs.

Sadly economics doesn't work that way. try making iPhones in USA too, it will be so costly no one will be able to afford it. So do you get the point ??
