QUETTA: Federal Minister for Information Nisar A. Memon on Thursday advised India to avoid interference in Pakistan’s internal matters.

Addressing a news conference here the minister said the Indian statement was against the spirit behind the ongoing bilateral dialogue.

The Minister said India had set up its 13 information centers in Afghanistan with the prime objective of disinformation.

“ We reject the statements of Indian leaders,” Memon said. Such statements could cast a negative impact on bilateral relations and vitiate the atmosphere, he said. Pakistan would not tolerate any interference in Gwadar, he further said.

The Minister said that there is no shortage of flour or any other edible items in the country. “We have sufficient stocks of flour, sugar, pulses and edible oil,” he said.

He told the newsmen that the provincial autonomy bill has been prepared and the next government will enact the legislation.

India can deny all it wants but it is well know fact that Pakistan is behind the insurgency in FATA and Baluchistan. In return we help out the insurgents in Kashmire.

Neither are we interfering nor do we have any interest in the internal affairs of Pakistan.
Thanks to the leadership of highly educated politicians like Manmohan singh and P Chidambaram, India is poised towards development rather than giving importance to others internal affairs. Infact we are supporting you, remember our National Security Advisor even supported pakistan by saying that Nuclear weapons are safe. This is a good gesture to show that we want peace and only peace.

I can name many Pakistani terrorist organizations who operate in India, but can you name any Indian terrorist organization who operate in Pakistan? Growing terrorists is like growing snakes, you wont konw when they bite you.

Have you ever thought, why some pakistanis even in this forum support Taliban. We need to isolate spritual things from security. Just because they are muslims does not mean that they should be supported!!

-First is the thing about the Nuclear weapons, are you forgetting that it was India that introduced these weapons to the Sub-Continent. If India wanted peace it would not raise its defence budget. It would not boss around the nation's of the Sub-continent.
-Second, these people who operate from Pakistan on behalf of India or who operate in India on behalf of India are spies. This is their job. Nawab Akbar Bughti was sponsored by India, so was Al-Zulfikar.

Simple question. Why does India has so many Consulates in Afghanistan bordering towns close to Pakistan? What are Indian Army officers doing there? Why there are so many Balochi's visit those Consulates?
Three simple questions. Awaiting answer.

No need to answer your wild dreams.

Pakistan's parliamentary secretary Syed Tanvir Hussain calling for open Jihad against India & US in the assembly is alright but, Indian Naval Chief discussing the strategic importance of a Pakistani port during a lecture is being termed interference. Strange!!!

I wonder what Nisar Memon has to say in regard to US where every Presidential candidate (Republican or Democratic) has openly stated for a US action to confiscate Pak's nuclear weapons.

The Indian Consulates are there to oversee that the Indian property left behind by people of Indian origin when they left Afghanistan during the turmoil days is not usurped as it was during the Partition, where both Indians and Pakistani lost their property. Once the turmoil is over, the Indians will return to their businesses and it is important that these Indians quickly settle down rather than start from scratch or are deterred from returning because their property has been forcefully taken over. There is no denial that the more the numbers of Indians in any country, the better would be its influence on the local government.

It is true that there is very good reasons for Pakistan to be wary of the Indian Consulates. Nothing said or done can allay Pakistan's apprehensions of these Consulate, as nothing said or done can allay India's apprehensions of the Chinese involvement in the Gwadar port where they have demanded and got sovereign rights. (Check thread).

Not really.

There are many Pakistanis out here who are very critical of Musharraf and so one does not know the inclination of the person who is writing.

Possibly you do not read the posts of people in detail and thus don't understand that there are divergence in the Pakistani views on Musharraf and his style of governance.

There was a chap who also praised the Balochi rebellion, something about Shardat or something like that he was mentioning.

He would not.

He has no options.

There is no doubt that Pakistan has to coopt the US and vice versa if the Taliban menace and the AQ has to be rid of in Pakistan.

Therefore, upsetting the US will be suicidal and he will lose his portfolio.

Check BBC HardTalk with President Musharraf.

Yes indeed india is very much interested in interfering, why because of the strategic importance of Gwadar and chinese involvement in it. And as for india's support to the anti pakistan organization, well have you ever heard the name of BLA?
