(CNN)India is the most dangerous country in the world to be a woman because of the high risk of sexual violence and slave labor, a new survey of experts shows.

The Thomson Reuters Foundation released its results Tuesday of a survey of 550 experts on women's issues, finding India to be the most dangerous nation for sexual violence against women, as well as human trafficking for domestic work, forced labor, forced marriage and sexual slavery, among other reasons.
It was also the most dangerous country in the world for cultural traditions that impact women, the survey found, citing acid attacks, female genital mutilation, child marriage and physical abuse. India was the fourth most dangerous country for women in the same survey seven years ago.

Both India and China got waivers from sanctions from the US the last time Iran was sanctioned. This time, both India and China will not get waivers. So if you want your banks to deal with the US, then you can't deal with Iran.

The U.S. State Department extended six-month Iran sanctions waivers on Friday to China, India, South Korea and other countries in exchange for their reducing purchases of Iranian crude oil earlier this year.

The waivers, which the State Department calls exceptions, mean that banks in the consuming countries will not face being cut off from the U.S. financial system for the next six months.

But now all insurance companies have already rejected insuring Iranian crude. Banks are also setting up deadlines for final transactions.

So both Indian and Chinese govts are in the same boat. Without waivers, we can't trade because banks won't agree.

Earlier, Iran could still sell 1 million bpd to other countries under sanctions. Normally they used to sell 2-3 million bpd. This time the US wants zero bpd, so they are much more serious than before.

Both India and China have to see what the EU does about the US sanctions. But even in their case, even if the govts are willing, the banks may refuse.
