India set to join Russia-Pakistan-China trilateral meet on Afghanistan

Only agenda for Pakistan is to ask India to stop its terrorist camps operated by its over a dozen foreign missions.
But Pakistan should veto India in that group. Thers will be no progress in the talks with india present there. The country does not even has a border with afg, just use it as launch pad for terror activities in Pak.
Lol.
Pakistan do not have any such Veto.

you still don't get it...being sunni gives us a deep influence over basically all of the conservative hanafi sunni afghans, pashtuns or not pashtuns. And that is 90% of afghans. india only has some sway over the liberal ultra rich and ultra corrupt non-religious types like abdullah abdullah and ghani, etc. no one else. And that too wouldn't be possible without a life line from uncle sam.
Not really.
Afghanistan has very little sectarianism except ISIS.
The Afghan internal conflicts are all fought on tribal or ethnic lines

inviting india to discuss afghanistan is as per Pakistan's wishes. As I said; india is being offered 3 choices. let's see what they decide.

Not really.
You have zero knowledge of Afghanistan conflicts.
alright man, enjoy that hole in the ground you have your head stuck in.

Thought Russia was interested in CPEC, so was in the PAkistan camp

There is no camp

We are working with Russia for our own benefit we have not asked them to act against or abandon their indian girlfriend

it is only india running around like a demented period striken emotional teenager asking Russia proves its love and dosent work with Pakistan then begging Russia for a invite that India was ignored for in the first place because everyone is tired of the whining and dramatics india always puts on

Hahahaha
:bunny::dance3::D:lol:

on topic, I don't see the point in getting too deeply involved in Afghanistan, let the big guys take care of it, just ban afghans/extreme vetting for them to get even a medical visa, unless they give us an airbase.

Being present in the meeting is important because India will be doing the infrastructural work. India has been doing this in past and cannot be ignored.

India set to join Russia-Pakistan-China trilateral meet on Afghanistan
Updated: Feb 08, 2017 00:56 IST

The Russia, China and Panistan trilateral was projected as an intiative for Afghanistan, but did not go down well with Afghanistan. Among the issues the countries plan on discussing now is the growing threat of Islamic State in Afghanistan which threatens to spill over.

India will join Russia-Pakistan-China-trilateral on Afghanistan, which had upset Kabul in the past, for the first time.
Afghanistan will also attend the meeting to be held in Moscow on February 15. India will be represented by a joint secretary- level official, sources said. Iran is another likely participant at the meet. The Russian had invited India to attend the grouping during the visit of national security advisor Ajit Doval to Russia last week. Doval had a meeting on a wide range of security and counter-terrorism issues with Russian security council Chief Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, a confidant of president Vladmir Putin.
According to sources India was willing to join the grouping provided Afghanistan was on board. Though Russia had maintained Russia-Pakistan-China trilateral as one of the many initiatives on Afghanistan, the move did not down well with Afghanistan.
The three countries had also said they are concerned about the growing threat of Islamic State in Afghanistan which threatens to spill over.
Russian envoy Vitaly Churkin, told the UN Security Council in December that deteriorating security situation has given a fillip to the IS militants escaping Syria and Iraq to take refuge in Afghanistan.

The grouping will now also discuss the security situation in Afghanistan and the peace process with Taliban.

Doesn't matter how many more countries would join the next meeting. The crucial aspect is the role played by each country. India is an irrelevant entity in Afghan affairs. If any thing, India has proved to be a negative factor working for instigating instability in the region in general and Afghanistan/Pakistan in particular. So don't expect any significant role for Indians. I believe the core group (consisting of Pakistan, China, and Russia) has already drawn up a roadmap, set the milestones, and charted a course of action. And now they want to pull and push different strings to achieve the predefined goals. I hope Afghan government cooperates because the entire show is aimed at bringing the stability and peace in Afghanistan.

Listen chump! let me tell you how it went

You are insignificant in Afghanistan the important meeting was the one that Russia-China-Pakistan have already had.
That has put the game plan into action

Even Afghanistan wasnt invited!

The next meeting is just a formality and all regional players have been invited.
India was left out of the original because no one wants to deal with your hissy fits about Pakistan when their is vital geostratigic work to be done

There is no official statement from Russia just from "sources" about limiting any vital work with Pakistan and you have begged a invite to the follow up conference to the important original
