India searches for way out of border standoff with China

We didn't invite India yesterday bro, it's a scheduled event since last year.

You should have shown balls to withdraw our invitation, if at all you were serous about your foreign ministry's statement of No dialogue with India.

The funny thing is India is still shamelessly coming to China even after such an incident. Other than a peace begging mission, what else can he be coming there for?

The funnier thing is China is engaging with us diplomatically without any choice. Your country could have denied our entry, but are helpless but bend down to the situation.

Even India media is saying it is such a mission. Come on, just admit it, you rejected OBOR because you felt threatened in Kashmir because of road building. Funny why you don't boycott this event now even thought it is a clear case of Indian security under threat by road building.. You are chickening out bhai.

OBOR was and is a strategic nightmare for India and therefore we reserve the right to deny it and boycott as you may call it. We are signatory and an active member of BRICS however we are not when it comes to the useless OBOR . We wanted an unconditional dialogue with China and we have succeeded in it without compromising our positions. Which is a failure for China.

Yup, China made it very clear no negotiations until withdrawal, yet he is still begging to come. You know those dog that keep on licking your boots even after you kick them away? You pushed us to the table or you miscalculated CHinese reactions and now you are stuck with no face saving retreat?

Nobody is begging you, you yourself said this was a planned event but you could have withdrawn the invitation had you got the balls. But you are just a paper dragon.

1) Withdraw without nego.
2) War.

There is only two outcome. Chinese government had been very clear on this and they normally stick to what they announced officially.

We have Mr. Doval visiting China without withdrawing our troops from the border which is against your official stand of No dialogues with India. Have some shame and withdraw the invitation or re issue a statement saying China ready for unconditional dialogue before you get humiliated once the BRICS summit is over

Look who is coming to China.. Here doggie doggie....come here doggie doggie...LOL

Doval doesn't beg, he is going there on chinese invitation to dictate terms, and china after losing its face in front the world will do some posturing to satisfy its hopelessly naive population believing in hollow chinese prowess, and then quietly go back with their tails between their legs, gulping down the utter humiliation.

If a dog keeps on wanting to lick you boots, how do you tell him to bugger off. You can't, a dog is a dog.

Are you sure we are engaging you diplomatically? You may come and we can just say fck off.
. There are so many Indian tourist and workers here, we can only ban them after a war starts, not before right? Why don't you expel our nationals in India?

Are you sure you are getting a dialogue? You are just begging to come to China, to try to beg for peace in a face saving manner. Just like how Modi suddenly came over to see Mr. Xi, and the members of the delegates were shocked like wtf just happened.

Nobody is begging you, you yourself said this was a planned event but you could have withdrawn the invitation had you got the balls. But you are just a paper dragon.
Bro ask your media man. No Chinese media is even saying this, I just read it from your media. This is clearly a sign of weakness from your government, you were supposed to make a firm stand. You government already made their stand clear, India will withdraw if China withdraws together, China replied, we will not withdraw, India will need to withdraw first. See the difference, one is a dominating reply, the other is seeking compromise.. You have every right to assume we are made of paper, those bullets in 1962 were not paper right?

Why are you visiting China, why not China visit you? I don't see you visiting Pakistan to kow tow right? You see the fear you have when it comes to China? Is there any dialogue? Can you tell me? It takes two to shake hands, I only see one guy extending his hands now, and it's not China. Let time prove my words. I will keep quiet now, it's only been a month, supplies are not completely delivered, troops and equipment not fully mobilized, and I can see China buying time to mobilize. The longer you wait before you attack China, the harder it gets once they finish mobilization.

Sure sure, he is forcefully going to China. Funny why the Chinese are not forcefully coming to India.. Let's see the reply so far from India.

1) China protest and ask India to withdraw
2) Gave ample warning by second week
3) India reply that they will only withdraw if China withdraws together
4) China replies China will not withdraw and India has to withdraw first else there will be war.
5) China conducts live fire drill
6) China mobilizes equipment
7) China briefs diplomats, the usual formality before going to war.
8) Mr Doval is going to China.

How do you conclude this?

How do you conclude this?

1) China illegally enters Bhutanese territory to occupy it
2) India rushes in there to protect Bhutan, a small non-militarized country
3) China protests and asks India to withdraw, so that it can fortify its illegal land grabbing
4) China issues a barrage of toothless hollow warnings and keeps on repeating them every hour for weeks
5) India reiterates that they will only withdraw if China withdraws together to protect sovereignty of Bhutan
6) China replies China will not withdraw and India has to withdraw first for any talk, else there will be war
Null) China conducts live fire drill (no, it didn't, it was done earlier, India also did it around the same time)
7) China claimed to have mobilized military assets...later denies any mobilization
8) China briefs diplomats, the usual ranting when they can't find the balls to go to war
9) India just doesn't bother to respond and calmly holds the position there
10) China stands helpless with exposed hollowness of its self-proclaimed powers
11) China agrees to talk after backing down from its previously stated position of no talk before India withdraws
12) Mr Doval is going to China on CHINESE INVITATION to dictate terms...like a BOSS

That's all folks...

That's all folks...

1) China illegally enters Bhutanese territory to occupy it = China was building their roads as usual, since 2003 onward, Chinese had been freely patrolling that area, dispute was between Bhutan and China.

2) India rushes in there to protect Bhutan, a small non-militarized country = India seeing that China is expanding into disputed Sino-Bhutanese territory tries to create conflict by entering that area and claiming they were protecting Bhutanese soil as excuse.

3) China protests and asks India to withdraw, so that it can fortify its illegal land grabbing = China asks India to withdraw without using any weapons to maintain peace.

4) China issues a barrage of toothless hollow warnings and keeps on repeating them every hour for weeks = China issues a series of warning, official warnings were roughly 5 to show seriousness of this issue compared to previous Sino-Indian conflicts as this was a Sino-Bhutanese dispute not Indian dispute. Chinese side even said that by using Indian logic China can intefere Indo-Pak conflict and defend Pakistan.

5) India reiterates that they will only withdraw if China withdraws together to protect sovereignty of Bhutan
= India sensing Chinese seriousness offers to withdraw only when China withdraws to save face. If India was adamant to protect Bhutan, why are they withdrawing. Dhotis are shivering in Delhi.

6) China replies China will not withdraw and India has to withdraw first for any talk, else there will be war
Null) China conducts live fire drill (no, it didn't, it was done earlier, India also did it around the same time)
= Live drills were done later bro, I don't know about any Indian drill. Anyway, live drills conducted near the border where even the sound of the mortars can be heard near the borders, this was reported in Chinese media, India medias says nothing unusual, just another drill. Dhoti were obviously shivering by then.

7) China claimed to have mobilized military assets...later denies any mobilization = China did not deny nor confirm any military asset mobilizations. It was RT and a few Indian outlets proclaiming it. Chinese media shows footages of equipment mobilization.

8) China briefs diplomats, the usual ranting when they can't find the balls to go to war  = China briefs diplomat to explain Chinese position and to justify any potential confrontation. At this point our friend here is still laughing as usual.

9) India just doesn't bother to respond and calmly holds the position there = I can't commend, you are telling me you are not shivering but who knows how your Government thinks.

10) China stands helpless with exposed hollowness of its self-proclaimed powers = Erm,...Ok......:D

11) China agrees to talk after backing down from its previously stated position of no talk before India withdraws
= When did we agree to talk bhai?
12) Mr Doval is going to China on CHINESE INVITATION to dictate terms...like a BOSS = CHina did not invite Doval yesterday nor after the conflict, he came to China using the excuse of attending a previously scheduled BRIC meeting to TRY to negotiate with the Chinese. Note that India boycotted OBORS earlier and yet seem eager to come to this 'summit'

Chinese knows what they are dealing with .
Had it been the Japan ,Vietnam or some other nation they would have been mobilize their forces .
After several years Chinese found out the other face of India .
BD can watch how we deal with them.

Bhadrakumar is a Communist Cold war era diplomat .Even he cant digest the fact that we have shown China their place .

Actually, China has by far the biggest success against India vs Japan or Vietnam. Everyone gets a turn to beat up on India. China did so in 1962. Let's hope that Bangladesh or Sri Lanka have a chance soon.

India started realizing slowly that grapes are sour. Bhutan didn't ceded indian claim yet that she asked india to intervene. Sooner all the chest thumping will turn into chest beating but in Bollywood style :P

Like Jaitley said this is 2017 not 1962 .

Meh...China ILLEGALLY made a mud road in 2003-04 at the disputed territory in spite of strong objections from Bhutan...knowing that a small country like Bhutan with less than a million population and barely any military to speak of can't do much against shameless Chinese occupation. This time China tried to convert that mud path into a permanent all-weather road, and we had to step in to stop that thuggery. You may not be knowing the relations between Bhutan and India, but we are duty-bound to protect Bhutan, it's our responsibilities. Now China knows that it can't push around a country of India's stature & strength...hence the endless frothing in the mouth. For all its claims of being a peaceful responsible country and a rising power; China is nothing but a glorified thug.

Our position is, and always has been that China must stop the road construction and go back to its previous position and promise to maintain status quo for us to go back, China has stopped the road construction since then, now it just needs to go back...and China will. Otherwise we will continue to maintain our position there and wait for the war as promised by China...hope China will keep her promise.

That's the point we had been patrolling and making roads in that region, be it mud or concrete. India was not assertive until recently. Its like someone who have been poked in the ar*e too long and suddenly explodes in anger. Funny how you didn't defend them last time, and now all the sudden you act hero.. Finally grown some bal*s? Thug or not, power comes from the gun barrel, you learnt it he hard way right?

China did not stop road construction, they 'delayed construction' because they can't bulldozed over a few hundred soldiers right? China's point is clear, withdraw before any negotiations. India is asking for both to withdraw to save face. If you are defending Bhutan and you believe that to be Bhutanese territory, why the heck are you asking to withdraw, note tht China did not agree to any withdrawal, they just ask you to withdraw.

It's about political will, Congress led by Man Mohan Singh was more laid back, BJP led by Modi is not. But what is wrong is wrong, a thief might manage to escape after stealing, but that doesn't make stealing legal.

Yes...permanently delayed. And we didn't move in to sit there, we moved in to make you withdraw, and once you withdraw, we have no reason to stay put. And let me confirm to you without any rhetoric, we won't allow the construction of road there even at the cost of a war.
