There is this whole mythological story behind the " Kali Avatar " of goddess durga and why she had to disrobe herself before killing the daemons.Pls read about it.

I have been defending the actions of the protesters on this thread, but I seriously don't think there was much wrong in what Mr. Hussain did.

But the fact that he ran off to Qatar rather than face the charges and prove his innocence pisses me off

You dont have any right to label any one who protests such explicit slandering of their Gods as extremist.

you can make nude paintings but the problem comes when it is named after somebodys god or dear ones or it has a matching face. will he tolerate his daughters nude painting..i don't think he will..so he has to consider that same sentiments will work in others cases also.
