Under Modi India is reversing all the economic goals it had achieved under Manmohan Singh. Economic Growth is low. Unemployment is all time high and demonetization and other policies backfired. Plus internal divisions growing.

Ya a country is not a regional power so what if its GDP is 4× bigger then the combine GDP of all other countries in the region Bangladesh (Second Biggest economy in South Asia) + Pakistan +Sri Lanka + Bhutan + Maldives + Nepal + AfghanistanIndia is growing but its no where near China and India is not even close to being a regional power let alone a supa powa!!
Yes, if the case of China is removed, the development of India is obvious to all. In fact, Chinese society also has some of the above points. In general, India is a fast-changing country in the world.Just because China is doing great, doesn't mean India isn't developing.
Even current growth rates are reasonable, looking at the global scenario.
Poverty is on a steep decline. Middle class is rising. High net worth individuals are growing at one of the fastest rates in the world.
I guess we have to deal with a lot of criticism, till we cross the middle income label. That looks like 2 decades ahead.
