India is not a rogue nation like others, GOI handed over Indian territory without consent of parliament according to our law such act is purely unconstitutional so that agreement become invalid and SL can't able to challenge it INC. SC definitely favors TN and GOI forced to obey our court verdict.

Think beyond the Indian SC, India fails in front of International law.

nope, This is already solved matter between two countries, so Indian court decisions does not effect to another country. There is a book about International maritime boundaries By American Society of International Law on Google books, search for it and read. It has all those agreements which happened between India and Sri Lanka. It clearly mentions everything,

1. Territorial sovereignty, which are a legacy of history; and
2. Relevant jurisdictional rights and interests

All maritime boundary disputes are resolved though negotiations. If you are ignorant of facts its better to learn something than sprout nonsense and waste everybody time.


All agreements are just that 'Agreements' i.e. both parties 'agree' on something. If one of them 'disagrees' it becomes a dispute. Ratification by parliament makes those 'Agreements' into Laws by modifying the 'Constitution'.

I can understand anger from my tamil brothers against backstabbing india...but if you put aside your anger and see...the biggest enemy is not SL or india but our traitors like Karunanidhi...until we have a true leader like modi our position will always be weak..all we need is one such good leader then see what happens...already there are lot of anger against center in rural tamil nadu...all you have to do is go to some village deep inside TN like me you will know but there is no good leader to channel this anger...dont go by views aired by people living comfortably in chennai...TN doesnt end with chennai and what ordinary people in chennai think is pretty insignificant.

If some one enter your home killed your elders and children raped your sisters means you spare that brutals?. SL thrown cluster bomb in hospital that time unborn baby(fetus) comes out from pregnant women and dies. The only International Law that has Jurisdiction over domestic laws is the 'Vienna convention'. Apart from that all other International Law is subject to agreements between nations and is subservient to domestic law of respective countries and their constitution.

If SC deems the Indo-SL agreement invalid and the govt does not get it ratified in parliament then it becomes mandatory for the Govt of the day to enforce the Law (Which is its primary responsibility).

In any case we are discussing 'Agreements' and no 'LAW' ....if you still haven't understood the difference the its a waste talking to you.

As I mentioned earlier I am not against Tamils being concerns for their kins folks in SL, but you need to remember the context.

It was the duty of 'concerned' Tamilians to prevent LTTE from taking up terrorism and 'brutal' killing of civilians and declaring war on SL. Since you 'failed' in that duty it is too late to cry over 'split milk' and talk about moral outrage. The moral high ground has already been abandoned.

...... collateral damage is not a pleasant word but may be a relevant word. Maybe some of that evil was wanton and deliberate ....but since its clear that 'concerned' tamils have lost the battle and the war its time to take a different approach.

Holding a grudge/resentment/anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.

You don't have to forget the people who died ...but you can certainly forgive the people who killed them. Not for them (they don't care either-way), but for yourself (so you can get on with your life).
