"India Rejects U.S. Bids for Big Order of Fighter Jets"

China is America's enemy #1. Obviously a lot of Chinese still think the West is so great. This is saddening. It seems India also has the same kind of mixed view of the West. So the two civilizations are alike in this way.

Again, congratulations India on the proper choice. Recognizing that China is the "big brother" in Asia will do you no harm.:woot: India will do well to focus on economic development for the next 20 years before really thinking about acting on the world stage as a superpower.

u r too funny!! what are u smoking???

Congratulations to India! You woke up and realized there is no hope in allying yourself with USA to try to contain China.

USA just wanted 1.2 billion Indians as cannon fodder. It wants to play off China and India to continue to reign supreme in the world.

The MMRCA result means that India rejected being a part of "Asian NATO." India wants to remain independent and non-aligned.

India must have finalized realized two facts to come to its decision: (1) the US dollar is about to collapse and (2) China is already so far ahead of India in every way that it's meaningless to try to compare with China -- just recognize our superpower status is the smartest choice for India.

Now that India has finally stepped out from the Anglo-Imperialist's shadow, US power will suffer a sudden free-fall and a multipolar world is inevitable. In Asia -- China #1, Russia and India #2 and #3.

China super power   hahahaha...Go ask somalians ,even they don't recognize u as u told....

My Dear Friend HONGWU are u a real CHINESE FROM CHINA...

@Hongwu: Why is this obsession with being super power/ big brother? I mean both Indians and some chinese?

Is not it more pertinent to focus more and more on development inside our own countries at the same time maintaining peaceful relationship with other nations? Why can't a nation have a developed economy and yet refuse to malign itself by refusing to be aligned with any particular block?

India and China co-existed as two great nations historically for 5000+ years without much conflict. I suggest both should focus to go back to similar relationship rather then these d!ck measuring contests. That is good for both the countries and, most importantly, for their massive populations.

If my memory serves me right he is not. I think he is the guy who couldn't write a word of mandarin in a particular thread. Unlike many Chinese members he is not humble enough to accept the fact that China don't want to be a superpower but a mid level income country.

But he sure is a funny character.
