Indian Soldiers are of very low quality. They are poorly equipped, trained and fed while psychological aspects such as high-suicide rates, homicides, premature resignations, and their occasional video rants about how mistreated they are; all showcase the state they are in.

Not too long ago an Indian Soldier "defected" to Pakistan because he was being "mistreated" by his officers. What soldier in a professional military would do that?

A couple thousand Pakistani irregulars camped in your territory facing a force that is over 15x larger than them and made up of regulars/special forces backed by artillery and air-force.

We only withdrew due to international and domestic pressure and keep in mind that we still have one of the most strategic peaks in the valley taken during the Kargil War.
