The double policy china played with India this is the direct fall out of that and this will happen more frequently if India's legitimate concerns are ignored

Why even care for China view? Focus only on Indian geopolitical importance. That's only mature direction to go.

but what any normal person dones't do is to beg to join the guy you hate so much, the same as my "beggar" example above, because that is immoral.

As I said on the same day of the news: SCO is dead!

Diplomacy is the art of working with both your friends and your enemies. SCO is of use to India insofar it involves Russia and the CARs while effectively allowing India to engage with China. Make no mistake - neither China nor India are naïve. They both recognize the need for the other in their growth. India is a very huge market, for Chinese goods too. It is a significant revenue generator for Chinese. While the political tip toeing will keep going on, both are mature enough to realize that it is better to work together for common economic reasons than to fight over historical baggage, which any economic growth and progress will anyways render redundant. Russia is needed in SCO because it has tremendous influence in CAR. But lets be honest, it is no more the economic growth house that it was a couple of years back.

You must also see the dynamics of international economics work here. India is being wooed by China too, whether one likes to admit it or not. The Chinese have significant edge militarily and prominent economically today, yet they have controlled their urge to settle the boundary issue. It is not because of their magnanimity but due to pragmatic approach. Slowly and steadily, China is going along the Saudi Arabian route. The Saudis have been rendered economically weaker than their earlier self by the US and Canadian Oil Industry resorting to fracking and cutting output costs in order to drive the oil costs down. This has had a tremendous impact on oil dependent economies, from Saudis (who are working against US interests in middle east) to Russia. At the same time, the Chinese have to face the challenge of huge amounts of inventories for which the market in Europe and US is dwindling. Just wait and watch, you will slowly see the impact of an anti-China economic cartel come into play. One must remember that USSR lost due to technology and credit denial, China will loose with market denial.
