Though I am personally not in favor of keeping such faces in key portfolios but this is not first time. Congress has given key portfolios to even conspirators of worst terrorist attacks or people who fanned the worst kind of violence in independent India. Perpetrators 1984 Sikh episodes, many militants (who have actually killed people) are given places in state government, the dacoits are given Member of parliament position and even part of many inter ministry panels. Hence Congress should be blamed for starting this.
Again, personally I am no in favor of giving top or key posts in key portfolios for people who are involved in any terrorist activities but that does not mean people cannot be given a chance to improve but not at the cost of country.

Every elected representative has some blood on his hand, intentionally or unintentionally. Do you think IK or Musharaf had not done any thing wrong to anyone through their policies if not direct attack? Even being a mute spectator to a crime is also considered as taking part in the crime. Bush, Obama, Putin, Xi, David, every world leader is responsible for killing many innocent lives when their country attacks another and kill civilians.
Sadly and unfortunately, this is how power game works. People are just number for them not living souls.
