Just curious, if someone mistakenly(or purposefully) serves haram food is it possible to lodge a case against them in Pakistan?

They are not lynched and killed for it by mobs.
There is access to pork and alcohol for non Muslims. A license is issued, intended for non Muslims but Muslims who want alcohol can manage to get their hands on it, they have to show at time of purchase at authorized sale point. However if any Muslim found in possession without the required paperwork there are penalties/fines.
By the way I find this incident pretty malicious, you can see the boti's in the biryani. If you are a veg and see something with boti, just stay away, no one is forcing you to eat it. All Pakistani Hindu's I know have no issue with chicken but it is a norm in Pakistan if Hindu guests invited we have a non meat dish in the menu.
Salaam
If the people being served were tricked into eating meat - it is, indeed, blameworthy. Tricking people into eating something they do not want to eat should be blameworthy in most circumstances (maybe exception in some extreme medical case).
Yes, in Pakistan if people are fed haram meat without informing them of it, it is illegal. You have to get licence to serve haram things - alcohol and such. The nonMuslims usually get licences to drink and serve alcohol.
Alcohol is illegal for Muslims to consume - so if a Muslim is found drinking alcohol they can be legally punished. The law does not apply to non-Muslims who have licenses.
Thanks for answering, religious food sensitivities are high in both our countries, I was simply curious about the legal aspects of it in Pakistan.
Sounds more like an extortion racket than a religious issue
Anoop Kumar Pandey, Station House Officer (SHO) of Charkhari Police Station, said that the main accused, Pappu Ansari, had promised a “biryani feast” if his nephew recovered from an illness and as a result, non-vegetarian biryani was served at the event.
“While puri-sabzi was served at one stall, biryani was served at another. While those who eat non-vegetarian food ate the biryani, others did not. Later, there were rumours that there was buffalo meat in the biryani. I reached there and brought the situation under control. However, the MLA later intervened and matter was again raised. I told the MLA to give a complaint if something wrong has happened. Now, we have registered an FIR based on the complaint,” said the SHO.

So according to Police SHO of Charkhari Police Station, we know that there were 2 separate stalls for veg and non veg foods, meaning it was left for the choice of those attending. So people who wanted veg food, they ate it and others who liked non veg food they ate by their own free will, meaning the whole case against muslims is a farce, based on hypocrite Indian Hindutva hatred against muslims. Simple
Might have a personal vendetta angle to it too, sad state of affairs these
A police officer also told The Indian Express that the complainant was willing to give an affidavit to withdraw the case but the MLA urged him to lodge the complaint.
Rajkumar Raikwar, who is a complainant in the FIR, said that while only one person, identified as Pappu Ansari, was responsible for serving non-vegeterian food without telling anyone, all the 22 others named in the FIR were innocent. Their names have been added on the direction of the MLA who “made us sign the complaint without us knowing what was it for”, he claimed.
