India Planning to Create Massive Floods In Pakistan!!

Last night they attacked our civilian population and killed two elder age civilians. Now in another violation they are abusing the water treaty. This is open gangsterism and an act of war. This too will be met by "shadeed muzammat" like words.
Seriously if at this point we don't invade IOK or at least do something major inside that area ,our civilian and military leadership should wear Bangles.
Update:Schools are closed in AJ&K , I think the begherat leadership has come to it's senses and planning to do something or already planned to take another beating.

It was narrated that Thawbaan, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There are two groups of my ummah whom Allah will protect from the Fire: a group who will conquer India, and a group who will be with ‘Eesaa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him).”

Pakistan, India spar over using water as a weapon in Kashmir dispute

Mehr Nadeem, Saad Sayeed and Neha Dasgupta

19 August 2019

Accusing India of waging "fifth-generation warfare", Pakistan said on Monday New Delhi had failed to inform it about the release of water from a dam that could cause flooding across the border.

India, however, rejected the claim saying that under the terms of a water treaty between the two nations it had informed Pakistan about the release of excess water late on Monday when it crossed a certain threshold.

Relations between the neighbours, already hostile, have been further strained over India's decision this month to revoke the special status of its portion of the Kashmir region that both countries claim. Pakistan reacted with fury, cutting transport and trade links and expelling India's ambassador in retaliation.

Islamabad said the unexpected release of water into the River Sutlej that flows from India to Pakistan was part of an attempt by New Delhi to flout the longstanding treaty between the countries.

"They try to isolate diplomatically, they try to strangulate economically, they're trying to strangulate our water resources – and water automatically will have an impact on your economy, your agriculture and your irrigation," Muzammil Hussain, chairman of the Pakistani government's Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), told Reuters.

India was using its position upstream to wage "fifth-generation warfare" on the country, said Hussain.

India's federal water resources ministry told Reuters late on Monday that under the treaty advance information needs to be given in a situation when "extraordinary discharges of water from reservoirs and flood flows" could harm the other party.

Until today no such extraordinary discharges had been observed on the Indian side in the current flood season. At 1900 IST (1330 GMT), the flow of Sutlej river reached the threshold level of high flood and the same was conveyed to Pakistan, the ministry said in a statement, adding that it is committed to the treaty.

Pakistani emergency authorities were preparing for minor flooding in several areas in Punjab state on Monday as a result of the unexpected rise in water flow, though it was not clear if any had occurred.

"India did not communicate the release of water to Pakistan," Khurram Shahzed, director general of Punjab Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), told Reuters.

India and Pakistan have long argued over water resources.

A World Bank-mediated arrangement known as the Indus Water Treaty splits the Indus River and its tributaries - which 80 percent of Pakistan's irrigated agriculture depends on - between the countries.

India, which lies upstream, threatened in February to stop sharing excess water with Pakistan after a suicide bomb attack by a Pakistan-based militant group in Kashmir that killed 40 Indian paramilitary police.

Hussain said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had "threatened very clearly that he could stop water to Pakistan. He couldn't care less (for) the treaties".

In 2016, after suspending a meeting on the Indus Water Treaty, Modi told government officials that "blood and water cannot flow together".

India says a programme of maximising its water usage by building hydroelectric plants is in line with the treaty.

I thought Indians were stopping water coming from rivers that they have rights too. India dams have same problem as pak dams have, silting. Hence capacity will be reduced.

Even the Indian Punjabis mostly look like their from UP.

The Partition of Punjab was highly necessary, although tragic events followed.

How many Generations are there?

It's always the Pakistanis crying about India imposing war on Pakistan, why can't the PTI Government invent a new Generation of war?

the mad dog to the east knows no humanity , no morals, and he will break every int'l law now.

lets not kid our selves with UN and USA, today , the mad dog revoked 370 . tomorrow, he will break IWT.

then what ?

what options pakistan has ?

i have written extensively on dam busters and direct kinetic strikes on indian dams in kashmir, but lets face it, we aren't doing any thing about it. our strategic planners have not considered this eventuality to attack indian dams , and hence, they have not(as of today) made any plan to develop dam busting ordinance ( nukes are useless here)

so , what can we do ;-

1 . complete , blanket ban on all Indian flights using Pakistan air space.

it will financially cripple their airlines ( airlines operate on hair thin margins anyway) . being strategic assets, >it will force their govt to reconsider

2. attacks on their merchant shipping in Arabian sea / PG

India is a heavy oil dependent country and imports massively from GCC . PAF can do ASM strikes from safe standoff ranges to sink the indian flagged ships / force them to travel a longer distance . > pressure on indian govt

3. sucker india into a transit gas deal

india is a gas starved nation. most of the country burns LPG or dung to cook. but here, indians have been smart. they backed out of TAPI and IPI deals knowing that pakistan would leverage the 'gas tap ON/OFF' switch.

i would highly suggest that pakistan sucker them into this deal. maybe offer a discount on transit tarriffs / or a third party guarantee that we would not turn the tap off. etc

then , when they scrap the IWT, we scrap this deal and turn their stoves off .

brilliant !

any comments ? please add suggestion

to add,

4. cultivate lots of tress, restore taiga, rainforests

can any environment guy comment ?

5. dams ,dams , lots of small dams

doesnt need explaining

i would request the moderators to make my post a new topic for visibility.

this is a different topic
