There were two partitions. 47 and 71.
Since BD is much better now in economic terms, its safe to assume 47 was useless.

May have been useless for indians but supremely beneficial for Pakistanis. It ensured we preserved our unique, beautiful race and were not being ruled and genocided by the world's most ugliest and physically repulsive sub-human race.

Muslim population of the india was near 30% at the time of partition in 1947 but the partition was right decision with the logic that strong Pakistan will protect Indian Muslims. Pakistan was doing great before the 1965 war which not only slow Pakistan economic development but at the same time USA stopped technology transfer to Pakistan.
Instead of 1965, If Pakistan could had wait for another 20-25 years or avoid that useless war, the things could have been different for entire Muslims of the Sub continent

Blame Pakistan’s military dictatorship for very problem it faces/ faced. Including loosing bengal

Contrary to the popular interpretation of two nation theory my view of two nation theory is not religious but dating back to indus valley civilization which is indigenous to pakistanis.

Historically the region pakistan and most of the north western india bordering pakistan is linked to one indus valley civilization.

Formation of Pakistan was inevitable as Pakistan is the true successor state of indus valley civilization.
