India-Pakistan border near Sialkot

Hahaha yea. But Lala, have you stayed at the Jagran Resort? If not then do go there next time (book hut number 8.3). There's a fork at Kundalshahi, right after the bridge, turn left from there and it takes you up to Jagaran Resort in like 15-20 min. That is the best place to stay at in all of Neelum.

yesssss that resort is also known as colony in locals :D another name of the place is kutton .. we stayed at some hotel in jagran valley .. resort was going on full booking couldnt get the place there :cry::D next time will surely go to the resort at any cost :partay:

Now I want to go there ! :(

But as I used to tease my Grandpa : Kashmir is just a glorified Murree and I don't even like hill resort towns....can't we get some part of Indian Rajastan or Punjab by giving the Indians the whole of Kashmir ? :unsure:

I was almost always greeted with a lecture on the bones of our ancestors being buried there and what not ! :o:

In time Grandpa realized that I was only messing with him ! :tongue:

boyy if we consider Gilgit baltistan also part of kashmir then boyyy we own the natural wonders here which indians can only imagine to have in their side :angel: @krash what you say about it :D

You wot mate!?! You are a shame to our people! >:-{

:lol: But seriously, you should go check it out. Its spectacular. The thick forests alone are something to be experienced. Murree is nowhere close. And make sure that you go at least till Kael (but never stay at Sharda). The real beauty begins beyond Keran. Kyun lala @aks18? ;)

Haha yea. The town's name is Kutton while the resort is named after another nearby town. Next time call them 4-5 days in advance. That place is always booked full. I have the number if anyone here wants it. The master rooms are amazing, the place is very serene, the views are amazing and the service is really good (barring the food I'm affraid :().

One can't compare GB with anything that the rest of the world has. You can't even gauge its splendour or understand what it is through pictures and videos. One has to go claim the privilege with one's own eyes. By God that region is something else.

Also, you can't compare IOK with Azad Kashmir either. Where AJK has narrow valleys with high mountains and all the beauty in the world, the IOK vale is mostly flat land with mountain-ish hills on its periphery. On the other side of the LOC the mountains stop and flat lands of the vale begin. It looks more like southern AJK and the southern Hazara region. Ladakh is better, but again the mountains are "meh" when compared to what we have here. But don't get me wrong, it's still very beautiful.

Unfortunately for you Iqbals poetry is still recited in Iran (where he is known as Igbal e lahoori),Central Asia and many western thinkers were great admirer if his.

Not to mention the countless people from all over the world (especially the far east) who learn Urdu specifically to read Iqbal.
