India not granted MFN status, says Gilani

Absolutely,

and

It is all to do with GHQ and PLA's strategic and security partnership. India-Pakistan peace will make China more vulnerable to India. China will punish Pakistan if Pakistan becomes friend with India and your Generals know it.

I liked the way China plays her role here.

It is China who dictates the GHQ against any such deal and at the same time do the pleasant talking of welcoming the MFN Pakistani walk the talk, talk the walk offer to India.

I wonder how much Pakistan is obliged to Chinese weapons and security solutions that it can tolerate them doing business with India but can't do the same with India.

China does not dictate anything, we don't have that type of relationship with the PRC, it is in the strategic interests of both Pakistan and China to have this relationship - which is going from strength to strength.

Why the flip flop? Because Pakistan's present government is a bunch of brainless buff-00ns whose combined IQ does not make it into triple digits.

Thanks for calling a spade a spade. I made a similar comment and the moderator deleted my post. Hopefully, since you have written it, it may be more acceptable.

Pushback by the Army: How dare the "bloody civilians" think of controlling foreign policy.

Nothing more.

Tussles of this type will only grow in the coming months.

You mean crooks. Gillani is a crook as are all in PPP

Well, to be fair, crooks come in both uniformed and non-uniformed varieties. Which ones do you have in mind?

If it is not in Pakistan's national interest to give MFN to india, then I say no.

I wish you are right but i doubt.

There are many China watchers and military experts who would agree with me.
Never mind your learning is limited to PDF but others do muck around many places and sources. I might be wrong but i have diversified your information, you can retain or reject it if you want.

Thanks

I have some information, and I can categorically state, that is not the type of relationship we have with the PRC.

Why are you crying, we are sovereign nation, and can grant whatever we want, to who ever we want.

Lets not blame politicians of Pakistan , they are simply not in charge.

you can't blame the nurse for the mistakes of the doctor.

No Sir, I disagree: Pakistani politicians have PLENTY of blame on them, not just now, but from decades past too.

Yesterday mainstream medias were lauding MFN status as a significant step including Foreign minister.

China and US congratulated on the move.

Even Imran Khan yesterday said its a positive development.

Civil society lauded the move.

And on Friday Pakistan clarified that there was no backtracking on granting Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status to India.

Well well on Saturday its against our interests.

Nothing but a LOL on how things are done.

I'm not crying on MFN flip flop by the Pakistani govt.

But your sense of logic is matter of worry.

By your own govts assessment MFN would have brought Pakistan millions of $$ worth trade , it seems you don't want that you are more happy with US aids , IMF loans , chinese handouts etc rather than trade with india.
