Yes, Hinduism is thousands of years older than Islam (I don't know why that would help your case), but it has been continuously developed all that time with new art, literature, philosophies, etc. Hinduism is a fluid system of beliefs, with no particular defining doctrine, while Islam is less so. In that respect, Hinduism is both older and younger than Islam is.

There is no conversion,all these kids talk big ****,smoke and drink their way off and as they approach their 30s,they just sober up and start getting theistic.

Our Muslims would happily convert if there is economics to do so,that's how they converted originally.

The title of the thread is misleading. This 10% refers to all minorities and not just Muslims. I don't think the civil job share for Muslims has increased significantly.

Nobody gives a crap which one is older, both believe the other is right, you can never win with religion.

Point being you are not going to convince someone to follow your religion because its older because that's not the reason why they choose to follow Islam or anyone who wishes to express their spirituality.

Monotheistic beliefs have existed in some form or another in the sub continent before Islam. Most of these people lived in modern day Pakistan. We were one of the first believers of monotheism in the world.

Archaeologists have not discovered a single trace of a temple or gods from the Indus Valley civilization. They found God statues towards the tail end of the civilization when it got taken over by others.

But that's not the point. Embrace your Muslim populace and let them live how they want or they will just separate and take a chunk of your land.
