It was linguistic back in the 1950s but later it was politics presented as ethnicity and culture. Telangana is a live example of that.

pranab is the president of india and sonia is the president of congress , people of india doesnt have any say in who should be the president of india/congress .... but when it comes to mms he is the p.m and has atmst powers with him and this so called economist has done nothing in his 2 nd ,term look where we are nw....do u really think people will elect this govt once again ..

no bihar it self very diversify .......so all bihari doesn't look same .......even doesn't speak same language..........Angika,Bhojpuri,Maithili,Magahi and santhali is major one.................

nepal border is mithalchal,up border is bhojpur,jharkhand and chattis grah border is santhali,bengal border angika,,,,,central zone patana are speak magahi..........so very diversify cluture..........major % of bihari muslim imigrant in bangladesh and pakistan is from up and bihar border those sapeak bhojpuri......maithali and santhali(big trible ) very less in% as immigrant

i am in favor of small state.....for better governance......there is no question about it ......best case study is Bihar and MP.........before partition of Bihar......condition of Bihar state was worst .......because south Bihar is very rich IN minerals and natural resource , and major revenue was suppose to come from south bihar......and politics was dominated by north bihari AND major money use to spend in north bihar..........so they didn't face challenge of revenue year and years ........and valuable time they wast in cast politics that suck bihar 200 year back......but after partition ...bihar started facing real challenge of revenue............and condition come ...when bihar government start facing problem to pay salary to government official ,teacher,and other .............than they realize .........cast politics is not good ...and they will not survive.....than reform started............

other wise bihari was not able to understand development before partition.....they were so trap in cast politics

so small state is good for good governance.......it is beneficial for social reform also
