India may emerge as 2nd most competitive manufacturing economy

How long will you remain in insecurity and jealousy ??

Yes, we are jealous of India's amazing growth and manufacturing and GDP (and currency reserves).

I hope we can reach your ranking soon.

On topic: We'll see what happens when the time comes. Check all the "predictions" that have been posted on this forum in the past few years to see how they went in hindsight, such as the 2008 article that stated that China would be utterly "humiliated" and beaten by India's economy in a few years.

Yes, guys at Deloitte are highly favored to India over US, Germany

Brazil is also jumping from 8th to 3rd position. Do you have any 'expert' comments on that ?? How long will you remain in insecurity and jealousy ??

Chinese are sore loosers

Yes you are.

India need to upgrade their ports, roads and rail line first before talking about being a manufacture powerhouse

true...valid point...add the improvement of infrastructure in Tier-1 and Tier 2 cities to your list. However, there's nothing wrong in trying to achieve all these things simultaneously... in fact it only makes more sense .

Thats gonna be an incredible job in democracy. No offensive, there are millions of Chinese losing their house. Especially in high density India, how the moving jobs are done when project meets people's house ? In China, many forces are used. Since many protests happened, the Govt starts to be serious.

Thats exactly what we are doing at a rapid pace. Port capacity has now increased to 1.3 billion tonnes and will be 2.5 by 2017. New shipyards and port containers are coming up.

It is very hard to do that in democracy but we are doing.
