To answer those I say "Yes, we are fools. We are fools bcoz we even shared our joy with u guys to start with, hoping you would join us. We are fools bcoz we dinn subdue when we where denied technologies, we dinn licked boots. We are fools bcoz we dinn first begged, bought or stole tech from the big boys played with their toys, then asked them for a lowly JV and latter gathered our balls to do our own home brew projects but attacked head on to the challenge....."

We here are cutting the learning curve which the big giants may have covered. We are cutting through thick layers of tech denial and ever so damning corruption, which the foreign posters are so kind to educate the world through this forum. One should understand that human nature is always to question and to explore 4 answers. Petty issues like monetary problems, corruption and tech denial would stop them. And the fact is people from this part of the subcontinent are famous for being visionary. We may not be that rich or that hard working but we have do not cutback on talent.

The cause is good. But the fact is that the risk is much greater if the attempt fails.

If the government can afford to fund the space program and the attempt fails, a minor setback.

If the government could of used the same funds to better the life of its citizens and the attempt fails, it'll be like a repeat of the North Korea missile test and will kill off space mission funding for a while.

Hope it goes well, but the success rate of a Mars probe isn't encouraging at all.

cost of funding social welfare program that ensures job for rural people=$10 billion
