India lets loose more water towards Pakistan

. .
These confused Pakistanis have no clue what they are talking. Hope they have some love for their own people, instead of just targeting India.

Hafeez Saeed says, Kshmiri muslims are drowning in flood water and GOI is not helping them.
Zaid Hamid says, India releasing more water from Kashmir to flood Pakistani villages.

. . .
Plain silly. There are floods at the moment in JK and adjoining areas in North West India. Pakistan has experienced massive and I mean massive rainfall in the last few days. There has been no substantial release. The dams are simply overflowing, as are ours, and our rivers and so forth.

Sorry, not understanding the complaint. If there were no dam, ALL the water would be coming down. India kept some of it.

The nature of dams is that one of their purposes for being is flood control. You can't completely prevent floods, but having a dam allows you to reduce the impact. India is doing what it can to help. If they didn't release water, the dam itself could be destroyed, which would be very very bad.

It's not just you. Even the ICJ has never understood Pakistan's complaints. That's why Pakistan has never won a case against India on our construction of dams.

Some Pakistanis are really retarded. Our government never started making dams, reservoirs etc and they are blaming someone else for this. When will you people grow up and stop being propagandist.

if india had not built any dam on chenab river then how much part of pakistan would be flooded?

That is true....

While Indians are far from perfect, I don't for a minute believe Indians steal water. Neither do I believe Indians have nefarious designs over this.

The claims that India does do this, is pretty ridiculous.

The fact of the matter is, and I quote this from a pakistani writer in Dawn.com that Indus Water Treaty is actually one of the most generous water treaties to be signed in modern times.

There have been independent inspectors who have checked modifications India has done to their dams and it has so far not breached IWT.

1 part is about stealing water...our fault we dont store it when we have excess of it coz some backward dweebs in Sindh dont allow some damns to be built based on god knows what research their god knows which scientist fed them regarding their god knows which fields will suffer...

as for releasing water...I dont think it is the 1st time India did this....though cant blame them (Kashmir area is a little flooded now a days) but it does happen cant deny it either........and well we are flooded thanks to our politicians not making better drainage systems....

I skipped over this part, I will re-read on this topic on other credible sites. I am not exactly well versed in the Indus water treaty issues.
