Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump isn't known for pulling any punches—even when it comes to international diplomacy, it appears.

On an American radio show on Monday, Trump called Pakistan "probably the most dangerous" country in the world today, adding that the only country that can "check" Pakistan is India.

Pakistan is "a serious problem" because they have nuclear weapons that work and "a lot of them," just like North Korea and its "mad man", Trump explained.

It wasn't enough that he clubbed Pakistan with North Korea. "India is the check to Pakistan," continued Trump, adding insult to Pakistan's injury. "You have to get India involved... They have their own nukes and have a very powerful army. They seem to be the real check.... I think we have to deal very closely with India to deal with it (Pakistan)," said Trump, about his foreign policy goals.

Trump has been criticized by some for lacking depth or being ignorant about national and international issues. When he didn't answer a question about whether he would send troops to Pakistan to take their nukes he quickly defended himself. "This is nothing to do with lack of knowledge, by the way, I know as much about Pakistan as other people," he said. The real reason he wouldn't answer, he said, is because he doesn't want people to know his intentions. "You want to have a little bit of guess work for the enemy."

Alongside Pakistan, North Korea's Kim Jong-un also came in for special mention by Trump. "You have a mad man over in North Korea who actually has nukes and says he's going to use them; he pops up every two weeks and he says he's going to use them," Trump said.

Pakistan should not depend on USA, by the way, USA have never had any president who likes Pakistan, their contact with Pakistan is driven by their interest in Pakistan, and they have twice dumped Pakistan & then come back . Thook ke chaata.

As a pakistani i wouldnt care about if David Trumps become president of USA or not. Its no secret that USA is in war with Islam, thats their real problem.

I like Donald T. a lot. He'll grow the economy and will bring back our jobs. But he's not a foreign policy expert. He'll need a strong Secretary of State. Outside of business, he isn't a diplomat or done diplomacy. So he'll learn or will have a very strong national security adviser and a Secretary of State. I am not worried about it. Republicans always make jingoistic comments about either Muslim countries or countries with nukes. But then the air deflates when they actually come into power and hear Pentagon's assessments. Alone Obama, Bush or Donald (if elected) can't just shape foreign policy on their own. This is a much more complex process and based on national security priorities. Where Pakistan is actually a center piece. When Donald Trump realizes how much help Pentagon might need from Pakistan n certain areas, he'll act decently. He won't cool off all the way as he has a bad mouth but he'll be good for the American economy for sure. The rest, his Secretary of State will handle based on Pentagon's assessments.

By the way, his lack of foreign policy experience shows up here. India isn't a check to Pakistan. In terms of Pakistan, India and China, Pakistan is actually is and always have been a check to India. India is a much larger country and a bigger power and she can run her own foreign policy without the US. Unless she wants to be a client state and play "check" for others. Just my assessment.

Donald will be good for American business and jobs. So I support him. The rest is an amateur's talk on foreign policy as that's not his background. He'll bring in professional foreign policy experts and diplomats for it later. Plus Pakistan has de-hyphenated herself from the US also, and is leaning towards China and Russia, plus keeping decent relationships with the US. So I don't think anything else matters. Reality is visible to everyone!

If we pick a particular section of time, the bubonic plague epidemic that swept Europe, then France is the most unsafe place in the World, in terms of medical facilities. Is that the case ? One has to provide proper time frame when talking about capital, for the value and effect keeps changing every instant. Number one.

Secondly, US aid to India, from 1946-2012 stands at around $65.1 billion, while for Pakistan, the figure is $44.4 billion. One parameter, there, Pakistan, is presently 7 times smaller than India. Even before Pakistan lost it's Eastern territories, it was still smaller than India. Factoring in the population size, it looks like Pakistan received much more aid than India.

Thirdly, to put that bubonic plague example of mine, in context, a graph of aid given vs received by India, in recent times.
When we compare X and Y, that have a propensity to change over a period of time, then we provide the time frame as well. It is the time frame that imparts meaning to the data. Otherwise, it's gibberish.
