We also have our multi billion dollar internationally recognised conglomerates.Japanese went up because they could create their own well respected international brands. Same as South Korea. India has not created any yet.

Japan was a technologically advanced, industrialised country well before the start of WW2.
Lol Japan was already an industrial technological powerhouse even before , during and after WWII.
