Packed with the latest stealth Submarines, Stealth Kolkata/ Vishakhapatnam class Destroyers, Stealth Shivalik/17b Frigates, Tanker, Anti-submarine Kamorta class Corvettes, new Minesweepers. Boeing P8I and Indian Navy's own satellite will keep a watch on em from way up top. Helis, MIG 29K and Navy Rafale's flying hard and hitting hard on the deck.
If one or two of the above-mentioned is enough to wet any bodies pants, imagine what will the WHOLE ARMADA DO?

At any time we need 3 aircraft carriers in IOR region, One placed as A&N islands, one for western fleet and one for eastern fleet and other purposes. Considering there will be refit and maintenance we need 5 to 6 carriers.

INS VIKRANT will cost us 5-6 billion with weapons and jets.

Depending on what option they choose, INS Vishal probably cost anywhere between 4-6 billion without weapons or planes.
Nuclear will be 1.5-2 times the cost of conventional ones.

We need fleet air defense capabilities to the tune of 150 kms in our AAW Destroyers which sail with the CBG.
Barak 8 goes a long way in increasing our air defense capabilities but still falls short of what is needed.

WIth Barak-8 achieving greater range than originally planned (90km versus 70km apparentl), Barak-8ER will go a long way to achieving above missile coverage.

A single 50% larger CATOBAR carrier such as the Vishal will easily be 150-200% more effective than a single Vikrant class carrier because of the inherently superior air wing it will carrier.

$10BN USD each is nowhere near how much this class will cost- that's almost USN Super Carrier prices!

India have vast cost line 8000 Km long, and most of our imports are through sea, so we need a good navy to keep the Indian ocean safer for the Indian cargo ships.

Nuclear powered, Ew suite like vickey (You cant't see it untill it is visible from nakde eyes), Hypersonic Brahmos with 1000 KM range, ExSAm with 300 KM range to intercept any plane, Laser to shoot down any missile in 100 KM. EM catapult.
