EDIT: if you are interested, here is a good link where you can perfect it even more. All you have to do is type in English and get the corresponding result. With some practice, I am sure you can grasp it completely.

One difference between Hindi and Urdu: some syllables in a word are conjoined in written Hindi, and kept separate in Urdu like a small phrase.

For example, آپ سے vs. आपसे -- see how the word is used in both sentences. You have to keep track of the compound words which can be a struggle. Unless someone is really serious. Indian Urdu-speaking Muslims can do both sentences correctly. Very few Hindus in India can write Urdu although nowadays many are taking interest, such as me.
