As for the base hangar collapse the proof there was no coverup of jet losses and damage was only minor can be gauged from the fact the IAF signed a deal with France for upgradation of 51 Mirages in 2011.We know that IAF acquitted a total of 59 Mirages and a loss of 8 jets in air accidents were recorded before deal signing (Sep 87, Oct 89, June 93, Jan 94,Sep 04, Oct 04, Nov 04, Jan 07).
