India fails to pass ANTI-CORRUPTION BILL !

It's our Politicians are to be blamed....in any organisation if the CEO is corrupt and inefficient then his subordinates will follow his foot step...if the ministers are efficient and clean then the bureaucrats will fall in line. Not all politicians are corrupt in India, we have seen many great selfless leaders - who lived their life for our country and one such example is late Shri. Kamaraj - he was the CM of Tamil Nadu for 15 years and all the developments today made by Tamil Nadu was becuse of the seeds shown by him in his rule, even after remaining Chief Minister for 15 years he had zero bank balance and no property as his possession...

President, not offend, but I have already said you can not do anything in a few months ago, even though there was a grand anti-corruption campaign. Now, what do you think?

Besides you would agree, i think ,that it is wise to pass a well planned and fully debated law by our lawmakers than just pass a powerful bill under the pressure of people who may not have a fully informed opinion.What happened in the past(previous 9 failures) is not related to present situation (evrytime lokshaba was dissolved before the bill could be passed)Anna and his campaign rightly gets the credit for popularizing the bill but in the end lawmakers should take their time to fully discuss the bill.

Wow that sucks Indians. I offer my condolences. I thought the bill would have been revolutionary for the subcontinent.

the bill hasn't failed just yet, Indian civil society has put immense pressure on our polity to pass a strong/credible anti-graft bill.
We recognize the issue, and are taking major steps to solve it.

So, we have no control over government employees, government funds, government policies.Is this democracy? Just vote once in five years and then plead before the same people who you voted to power?

@Imran :anna is suffering cold and clue . he is in hospital once he become fit ,the core committee will sit and decide thenext move. there are 4 state elections in january , i thijk team anna and public will punish those who betrayed us in parliament. by march bill will reintroduce to the parliament.

India has never been a democracy, its really a political oligarchy owned by wealthy landlords n capitalists who keep sending ppl to vote for them through hook n crook on false promises n keep giving injections of democracy to the awaam. In fact its just like Pakistan where Nawaz n Zaradari own Pakistan, in India its the Ghandis and Modi's. Thats the sad reality.

To be honest, this is a world for who is more broken and this is the nature of the world, friends, so, from this perspective, China has set a better "forms of corruption" than India, but the key is, what with India's democratic came to India, you think?

Mate seriously I don´t know how to reply you but as I see it, the primary concern of lawmakers is not the utility of bill(which nobody doubt will be useful for the nation building) but more about the abuse of the bill for vested interest by some people who could be anti-national. As far as maoist are concerned bill or no bill they must give up their arms and try to utilize whatever peaceful means the constitution provide to voice their grievances and they must not impede the development efforts put forward by the govt for their benefit.Poverty is no doubt a concern,but it is not just going to vanish overnight if the bill is passed, at best it will only hasten the ongoing process of development and reform..

comparison for inspiration should be done. what shouldn't be done is ridiculing someone's efforts and looking down upon the less-fortunate others.

The problem is the "a night" has been too long, I think even some of the Indians feel it.
