Dravidian (Tamil) ideology in a nutshell

1) dismantling Brahmin hegemony
2) revive Tamil culture / language e.g opposition to Hindi as Indian national language, end northern Indian domination
3) rationalism - free from religious superstitions
4) social reforms e.g abolish caste system, , empowerment of women to equal position in the society
5) self respect movement
6) Tamil nationalism - Tamilnadu must have self-determination or at maximum, secession from India (independence of Dravida Nadu)

dravidianism was at its peak in 60s and 70s, over the years some of the ideologies have lost its shine and edge or got diluted e.g no 3, 6
