Every conventional platform is always mentioned. Sudarshan, this, Arjun, Tejas, and dozens of others are mentioned by our PSUs when the project is nowhere near completion.

Which product of these strategic platforms is inducted to completion and en masse, so far you tell me?

-Arjun still in limbo with Army citing stupid reasons,
-Tejas is desperate to come out,
-Arihant is still only in the headlines,
-Vikrant II is still 4 years away,
-AMCA is frozen,
-LCH is still a year away despite 3 years in the making and testing.
-Astra is still not inducted.
-Nirbhay is still not inducted.
-License-built Scorpenes are still not even started, forget half way in India.
-NAL Saras is frozen, which was supposed to replace Dorniers. Instead we had to renew our license agreement for newer version of Dornier with Germans.
-Rafale license building facility has not even made it to the headlines as the deal is still in 'negotiations', while young IAF pilots are dying in 50 year old jets.
- HTT-40 has got a nod only now.
- IJT-36 Sitara is nowhere to be seen despite having been supposed to be inducted in IAF last year.

They can't even repair the stuff.........forget about building new things,,,,,,,,,most of the work done is using foreign consultants and almost all the components are imported(yes nut,bolts,gearbox and steel are indian)

See friend there are two types of weapons. First you can Import and other you can not. We have made a great progress in second type of weapon since there is no chance of kick back. We shall develop and deploy second type of weapon very fast. Since E bomb falls in second category, I am hopeful induction very fast.

And this second type of a weapon is something that you cannot use in conventional warfare. These weapons are used as a last resort to ensure the safe existence of a country, not as a first means of attack or retaliation.

The first type of weapons as you speak are the ones used as a means of initial line of defence for which we are totally dependent on foreign imports. That can only be changed if the MOD and the government of the country develops a far sight and allows the PSUs in defence to be taken over by either a corporatized public entity or a private sector conglomerate which won't need sarkari babus to make the everyday decisions for every single thing. This would speed up our induction and production process at least four times if not more.

That is more than enough

We shall develop and deploy second type of weapon very fast. Since E bomb falls in second category, I am hopeful induction very fast.

The word shall is what everyone relies on in DRDO.

It never comes as 'has developed', 'sees induction today' etc.

it is clearly to me that those losers in charge of these projects are just using such tax funded project to earn media attention for themselves.

if you look at Chinese projects, we debate online for ages on topics like "whether J-10 does exist?", "Is J-20 just a dream" because such projects are never announced until all technical difficulties are solved. it is in our DNA that we Chinese hate big mouth losers.
