What's new

India Developing, but still a long way to go

10 yrs. max., technically speaking.

Note most major 'bottle-neck' projects like Mumbai, Delhi telephone exchange, local rail or airports are done, in full swing or close to completion. Underway are second, even third layers like new airports, rail terminals and outer ring roads.

Infra. sector is onto the next level, adding depth to the country.

My pleasure 'iam not greek', my attitude is backed by prima-facie, eye witness account tempered with long years techno-legal expertise.

One word - experience. Consider my expert opinion and profit from it, like invest in L&T, SBI, Tata Steel or Simplex Infra. and see your investment boom. I have. Said Co.'s are prime contractors.

That shock pink Mumbai mono-rail is real shoon-shaan, no :) !

Given the GoI is spending $1 TRILLION USD on infrastructure in the next 4-5 years, this is a smart investment for sure.

those art deco building need to go.... i don't understand why ppl are against them being redeveloped.

From what I understand (and please correct me if I am wrong @anyone) these houses are owned by the great and wealthy of Mumbai and as such there is little liklihood of this anytime soon. But yes, I agree, some Supertalls in this space and Mumbai would start to have a world-class skyline.

And it would just look awesome along Marine drive.

$ 1 Trillion my a$$.

In Indian infra projects, a $ goes a long way re: input costs of labour, steel, cement, sand, crushed stone, tech. support and machines.

All is local.
And the companies that put it all together are local with 1'st class, long-term middle-east exposure.

In purchasing parity terms, a 1 Trillion in the India infra. context re: costs of labour, steel, cement, sand, crushed stone, tech. support and machines is more like x 20 times as much. A single Dollar goes x 20 times farther in India.

$ 20 Trillion is more like the real figure, it's the true, real a practical value of a mere $ 1 Trillion!

Well then, more reason to invest, lol!

@patentneer I agree that in PPP terms this $1 TRILLION USD is significantly more in the Indian context. However when you are talking about large-scale intricate projects that require specialist equipment and consultants from abroad the broad x20 times model isn't going to always work.

Haha :haha: .

Indian highways can mess up 'yer head.

1 min. you are in 3'rd world, another min. you are in 1'st world. Sometimes 2'nd world, even out of this world.

You Know This Happens India Side Only
