India denies Kashmiri leaders documents to travel to Saudi Arabia

Sure they can, but would those reasons be legitimate? That's the problem here.

Why would it look bad for India? Because it would support Separatist claims that India controls every aspect of Kashmir life, and they don't even have the freedom of travel (whether the claims are true, wouldn't even be debated).

Okay lets just suppose you are right, it does make India look bad. Now what? Forget about an impotent organization like OIC, what possibly could any world body do to end the so called Indian "military occupation" of Kashmir?

And Indian laws control every aspect of J&K just like they do in the other 28 states of our union. This is a strong message by GOI, that sedition would not be tolerated. If anything these "separatists" should be thankful we have not dealt with them the way CPC does with its traitors.

@ranjeet Please publish a poster and distribute it in places like Goa, where these 'fatties' come for saying hi, to Indian women. They'll get your message 'cheek to cheek'.
These "fatties" also pay top dollar to poor Pakistani families for procurement of child brides. As they say, money can buy everything, well almost everything

J&K is ruled by special laws, including granting the military and police forces complete authority to arrest anyone they want without any repercussions, or having to deal with a civil process.

Now, it's not just about India looking bad, and international organizations being able to do something about it, that point of view is completely narrow. You're looking at the military aspects of it, instead of the political aspects. India is looking to grow it's global influence, this could very well slow that process down. If India looks bad in the world's eyes, it's global reach could suffer for it.

of course its legitimate...why not...they are spreading anti national propaganda...for which they must be sacked...but our govt.. give a bit too much respect to these morons

they are free to travel ..but not at the cost of breach in national security...they are a kind of threat to the system...and every threat must be dealt with... they are very good at propagating anti-national sentiment not only in india but also in the muslim world against india...and that is serious offence...
no body cares if it looks bad...
Actually, India's freedom of speech laws allow this sort of talk, they can't be sacked, when the government doesn't actually employ them, so I don't know what you're talking about. Spreading anti-national propaganda, is technically legal, what's illegal is acting upon those thoughts; So you're wrong, if you think that they're not allowed to do this.

Next, this situation proves that they're not allowed to freely travel, your excuse of national security threat is a bit far-fetched. Simply spreading a message is in no way against Indian law (from what I understand), if it was, they would be under arrest. If they truly were a national security threat, why aren't they behind bars?

Your comments are ridiculous.

By the way, only regular Indians don't seem to care if India looks bad, but I think your military apparatus and government would highly disagree, especially with their global ambitions.
