India decides to impose tariffs on 30 kinds of goods from United States

Your post examplifies how Indians view non white countries on how they serve the west. The slave mentality where India strive to be the #1 slave.
RIP logic ...You need to read that again and again to get something real out of your prejudiced thick brain ..

. .
You are right. The US rely on India for spices and henna powder. Without these imports, the US economy will crash because there are no other countries that can supply those rare commodities.
This is correct.

I have stated before that the only exportable commodity(cow dung aside) that India excel in are spices, henna dye products and gems.

I suppose Generic Pharmaceuticals is not an exportable item to the US.
Why don’t you show us the numbers behind this massive henna dye business we are doing with the US?

Apparently henna dye dwarfs all other Indian exports, so let’s see the statistics for this please.

Hahahaha show me how much of generic drugs in the US are manufactured in India.

I'm asking this with confidence because singapore has a strict import control n do not import from spurious quality-laden supplier sources like India for it's pharmaceutical needs- and it follows the US FDA protocols.

I repeat: show me sources where India export generic drugs to the US(not Africa, Middle east or any 3rd world countries)

Your turn...
Prove your statements. Singapore is irrelevant to this conversation.

Overall drug approvals given by the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to Indian companies have nearly doubled to 201 in FY 2015-16 from 109 in FY 2014-15. The country accounts for around 30 per cent (by volume) and about 10 per cent (value) in the US$ 70-80 billion US generics market.

You’ve got to be kidding me! lol
How much do you even know about the indian Pharma industry is the first question. Because you sound like an ignorant fool when you make such broad sweeping statements.

Seems the cat got your tongue.
With the amount of confidence you were spewing nonsense with, you should have your evidence for sale of henna and spices as being the ONLY exportable item from India at the tip of your finger.
What happened my lil Singaporean web warrior?

This is what India and US trade according to US Trade Representative:

https://ustr.gov/countries-regions/south-central-asia/india

By the biggest component of India's exports to US is service-oriented. No tariffs were issued on this sector, but I assure you Trump is going to target that next, including limiting of H-1B visas to Indians. For Trump everything seems to be on the table and nothing is sacred.

Trade in services with India (exports and imports) totaled an estimated $47.2 billion in 2016. Services exports were $20.3 billion; services imports were $26.8 billion. The U.S. services trade deficit with India was $6.5 billion in 2016.

In service sector trade deficit is only $6.5 billion.

In 2016-17 Indian Pharma export to US was around 5.6 Billion $...

We are talking about Trump here. There's no nuance with him: he doesn't care if the deficit is 65 cents or 65 billion. Everything is negotiable.

.
Unfortunately for yankees, Indians follow the footsteps of China and has put hands on United States goods as well.
I think world should come in one page against Trump idiotic approach and give him left right correctly so that he will be back to his senses. EU,China,Russian and others major economies should make one economic alliance against trump
