Grey list is not that important unlike black one.

Lol gray list prevents investments & higher tariffs, if Pakistan can't pay back Chinese debts in the next 10 years it will become a another Sri Lanka sucked by Chinese debts.

Indian and some of stupid Pakistani media protrayed before Friday day end that,ohh Pakistan is going to be doomed, we are getting sanctioned and black listed, our economy will get a major hit and bla bla bla. As it turned out to be the case that there is no mentioned about it grey,black,yellow or any list yet.

Now what we have to do is to play smart diplomacy and bring another voting in June to get cleared from grey or any list in near by future.

That's not how it works , in june you are placed on the gray list ,where you have to submit a workplan to effectively crub terrorist funding , if it is satisfactory you won't be placed in the black list .

China is doing what everyone is doing since past few years in Foreign relations. Everyone wants its price and SOLD.
this includes Pakistan -- u guys sold everything for the US money and pressure.
Inida -- to please arab world/Palestine said No to Jerusalem. Then sold itself for the US against Israel for Javellin Missile. ditched US for Russia on Ukraine crisis. ditched US for Iranian Oil. Ditched China for Japan bullet train and investments and list is endless

China-- Ditched u guys during Kargil crisis. Actually it was China who leaked Mushy's talk to the US and India when later was in China. Ditched u guys recently in FATF..don't worry they sell u June as well. or expect u already sold.

Thing is that we have given these weak points ourselves. We cant blame India, Israel or US for our internal issues.
I mean what is the need of Jaishe Muhammad etc these vigilante groups when we have our own security agencies. Is our Army not enough for internal & external threats?

Should we be worried?

The report that China was elected as Vice President of FATF on the back of some deal with India is indeed true. However, the decision by China was made only after Pakistan lost the Saudi Vote which was required to complete the minimum requirement of 3 votes against US led resolution to grey list Pakistan.

Saudi vote was lost when US offered Saudi Arabia a full membership of FATF, currently the entire GCC has only 1 vote and observatory status of FATF.

I don't think China will ever ditch Pakistan, China knows Pakistan is being targetted bcoz of CPEC and cosying up with them against Yankee plan for the region, maybe we have some shortcomings. nothing to do with bharat China ganging up against Pakistan (its laughable to even think about it). its not that China will forget Quad being formed against her and bharati anti China rhetoric for a seat in useless organization (of which we weren't aware till recently).

Moreover Miftah Ismael said China was with us till the end.

Now what we have to do is to play smart diplomacy and bring another voting in June to get cleared from grey or any list in near by future. This can be done easily, by bringing China into the loop. Good that they will be getting VP post which means more active participation from them during their tenure. Hopefully PMLN doesn't drop the ball here. This can be sorted out before the care taker Govt where we can develop our case strongly.

In June the 2 options are grey list (if Pakistan submits a plan) or blacklist (if it doesn't). The reason Pakistan did not get grey listed now is because it hasnt submitted an action plan without which, the option is only black listing. And since the proposal was not for blacklist, that was not an option.
