India-China relations

Actually, it was the Indian Defence Minister, who called China their number one enemy. :P

BBC NEWS | South Asia | China and India's mutual distrust

the indian defense chief's (and their nation's) deep-seated animosity towards china notwithstanding, we still should have the generosity not to call the indians our number one enemy. it is the duty of chinese defense chief to make sure that any large scale military conflict be limited to some locality and that only one of our military districts be mobilized to cope with indian aggression. of course, it is the holy duty of the chief of that military district to make this conflict a total war and total hell for india, but military planning at a national level must incline towards limitation and control when it comes to the indian threat. in this magnanimous gesture of moderation the world should come to know the grace and nobility of the chinese military in contrast to its ignominious and perfidious indian counterpart.

He used that word because of China's stubborn response after 1998 Nuclear Tests. Plus Chinese always talk sweet in front but in behind they will keep arming India's enemy and Arch-rival with weapons, missiles and nuke tech to contain us. It were the Chinese only who vetoed the banning of Jamaat Ul Dawah at UNSC which later on conducted mayhem in Mumbai killing hundreds of people.

Even India-China mutual trade is increased to $200 billion,we Indian are not going to trust China.

Indians have far more important issues to vote on than India-China relations. In fact, I can bet that most Indians, including those in the hinterlands, cannot even point to where China is on the world map.

I'm not surprised given your high illiterate ratio.
