Till the time u get ur mk-2 in 2017 ... we would already have all the blocks of JFT-17.
They can take care of ur mirages,migs etc........ While the initial order of FC-20 is 58 and would be increased.

In 1965 Iaf was 3 times bigger then PAF, but now gap is decreasing, it's now 2 time bigger!
And i dont want war too!

With no shortagges of funds and many huge deals under pipeline IAF can become 10 times bigger than PAF in 1 or 2 decades

remember you cannot afford to loose alot of your airforce you have some of those planes deployed on the Chinese border.
There are so many flaws in the cold start doctrine and in reality India cannot use shock and awe tactics against the PAF.
