These Westerners become your greatest friends when they provide India with trade concessions, nuke tech, investments, etc. They become evil when they expose Indian wrongdoings and rape endemic. Try to strike some balance.
Has the rapist of toddler ....been arrested, and how can a Westerner make a documentary in your country when ...you behead Daniel pearl

.
Freedom of speech to the trash bin. Incredible Rapestan. Indians think they can hide their rape endemic from their people. They are mistaken. This illness is widespread in India and the entire world knows about it.
while in india rapists are tracked down and jailed before you can blink, you do realize that rape is legal in pakistan so you have no moral authority here?

Only 25-30% of Indians are properly educated I don't think it will make impact on large part of the society it will only for the satisfaction of Creamy layer of our society.

.
Right thing to do, considering that children will fall prey for this kind of useless documentaries.

Their societies are all fcked up in the name of western values and now they are venturing into east to degrade family values.
Britain has many sad tales and rape incidents, Britain truly needs this kind of awareness, so better concentrate on your society.

I don't find it impact full mate you and me are debating on this is worthless we are educated but large part of society do not possess intellectual brains of ours.So I don't find the purpose of this documentary in our society. Rather it will create distance between class of society.

Well we are evolving into a better society/more educated and aware society so censorship is not the answer here,,,,self critique and introspection is.

have faith in what? BBC wants to know the mindset of a Rapist as if they have a shortage of "Asian" rapists in UK. There is no difference in the thought process, why spend extra pounds just to fly to India?

Govt. has the right to ban anything which is seen as damaging to the society. Most of the reports are already in the media and there is awareness. Nothing new will this documentary bring to the public domain.

Plus children needs to be kept away from this kind of mindless documentaries.

Regarding Britain and India comparison. There is no comparison at regarding moral and family values.

Because it sells.........
U get to portray a third world gory rape, better than self introspection into domestic rapes.

But even english press(non bbc of course) printed the nude pics of princess middleton,,so its pretty balanced overall.U cannot pick and choose an incident to vent ur anger.

Press cannot be controlled now and it wants a juicy story,u know why??
Because it sells

Hudood Ordinances

We're referring to "Hudood," a set of Quranic laws whose name is derived from "hud," meaning "punishment." While national versions differ, most Hudood laws legalize the prosecution of a woman for fornication if she cannot prove a crime was committed. In Pakistan, four Muslim men must have witnessed the event, and testify for the victim. If the woman can't produce those witnesses, she can be prosecuted for alleging a false crime. Penalties include stoning to death, lashing or prison.
