He was not forcefully converted but his ancestors were. Bengal is where the invaders massacred hundreds and thousands of non opposing Buddist monks and converted the villagers forcefully.

YOu are misinformed. It was actually the Sena dynasty who marginalized Buddhist and made them the lower caste and totally kick them out of political sphere after taking over Gaur. Islam was a blessing for them and that is how they regained their lost influence back in Bengal. The conversion was actually done by non violent Sufis which you will find their shrine in every other villages deep inside Bengal.

These Indians should read the book by Robert Eaton on the growth of Islam in Bengal. It had nothing to do with the sword but with development.

Your fairy tale has a source ? Look around in your east, and your adivasi. The most disadvantagous folks are still converting. Mizoram is almost Christian by now.

Look some are pro-pakistanis, some are pro-Indian and some are pro- chinese, majority vote wins, your govt. is pro Indian so it can't be helped. Next time vote for the govt who is pro-Chinese thats it, a vote can change a lot of things.

When you take over power in Bangladesh, you will have to be taken seriously.
