I know. India has a head start in many things. But the thing is that india wants to work alone. While pakistan has a ally that is the next superpower, is way ahead of india in almost every way. LCA is a good exmaple, indians triead to make a fighter from scratch. Which is impossible to make for a devloping country.

While Pakistan on the other hand dicided to do the same thing but only that they asked China for help. So you see this is where the differences begin to appear. India tries to do stuff from scrtach alone while pakistan does the same thing but only they get a partner, China in this case to help them.

You might have heard that the chinese need pakistanis as much as the pakistanis need the chinese. This is becasue china needs someone to help "distract" india away from becoming a power. That's why pakistan is china's ally. But then pakistan nedded someone to help them devlop. That's why china is pakistan's ally.

In other words, both countries are using each other and both countries are gaining experince from it. But the thing is that it is india who has to worry about all this.

Awais,

Sorry to say but your post lacks some facts.

# 1 For years India is developing it's space programme along with it's trusted partner Russia.

# 2 Pakistan is yet to launch SLV whereas India has launched SLV's/ASLV's/PSLV's and GSLV's.

#3 Indian space programme you cant compare with LCA. Indian Space programme is much much more matured and way ahead even of China.

The only difference is due to the political willingness China has done human flights where as India dosent need one.

Even when we wouldn't get Cryogenic engines we made it by our own.

# 4 India has launched it's own satelites for Weather,Education,Telecommunication, media and even for spying.

# 5 Besides this India has also successfully launched many many foriegn satelites.

# 6 Today we are at such a stage that we don't need colaboration from any other country but still all are welcome.

For Example NASA is going to put it's Payload on the Indian Space Craft for their Research and Development.

Manned lunar missions are a sure way to piss away lots of dollars. What can a manned lunar mission do that an unmanned lunar mission can't do??

It's just because of prestige that U.S. wants to restart manned lunar mission.

Pakistan should instead concentrate on the much more practical and useful task of launching satellites. Co-operation should be greatly increased with China which will be a major space power in future. Partnership with U.S. in space will be much less fruitful because U.S. doesn't want to share technologies with Pakistan which will help Pakistan with Ballistic missiles.

China will be much more willing to treat Pakistan as a partner.

Sure it takes billions of $$$ to send a man to space, but it's much better then having to use the same monwy for arms now is'nt it. Apart from that it will have alot of advantages.
1. You would be exploring new planets, a step ahead in science

2. In the future when there might be a time where wars will be faught for natural rescoures. If you have a man in space then a few more years of R & D, and you might be albe to take natural rescoures form things like the moon and astorides.
3. Space is the next big thing, you have to admit it.
4. It will make the country look more scinecey and not back ward type countires.

5.If pakistan or india send a man to space, it's people will be able to brag about it in countires like japan or eueape since they have'nt sended a man in space.

I totally agree with you man. China is getting very advanced in the space technology, and no doubt that we need to get more advance as we see India have made a very good progress in space. Pakistan must counter it, or else it will lack advantages against india in future warfare. Regarding getting partnership with the U.S, well thats true too i guess. Its more beneficial to get with China than U.S, as it is not a reliable ally.
