I have stated many times on this forum that the spread of wealth in India is very unequal. Even though in recent years the economy is showing better results and GDP figures are rising. But as a matter of fact, the expansion and the GDP growth is ending in the hands of very few people.

This had been confirmed in this video. In the last minute of the video it is revealed that only 9 individuals or families in India have equal wealth to 50% Indians, i.e. 600 millions Indians.

I think the Indians participants on this forum fail to understand when we Pakistanis or or Pakistani origins argue that Pakistanis as a whole are far better off than Indians and that poverty levels in India are very sever compared to Pakistan. There are degrees of poverty and vast majority of Indians are very very very poor.

Misery? I was under the impression they were happy that Modi won, they were cheering for him when exit polls came out.

I think you didn't feel the essence of the comments by most Pakistanis. They knew the tensions between India and Pakistan would be high, there could be a very realistic chance of a war. Therefore, in my opinion, nobody underestimated the return to the power by Modi.
Their comments were only in relation to the fact that Modi's re-elections would cause huge internal fractions within India. That remains to be seen. But if past has anything to do with it, then we all should be rest assured further alienation would occur in India.

I fully understood the underlying meaning of those messages, and my post was sarcastic.

Dont believe everything u see in media. Yes there have been lynchings, but the investigations have also been carried out and culprits have always been caught. Now that Modi has got 2nd term, i expect them to come down.
Regarding polarisation, all parties do that, earlier it was done in the name of muslims. Schemes were made to benefit only muslims and christians so Hindus felt neglected. You cant just neglect 80%+ of ur population. What i call this mandate is restoration of balance. Yes minorities enjoy rights, but that doesnt mean u will curtail the rights of majority.
In the run up to elections, many mosques were mosques were shouting on their loudspeakers to not vote for BJP, Churches were giving sermons to not vote for BJP. Can u imagine a mandir asking hindus to vote only for BJP? Think of the outrage! And yet no action was taken against these institutions.

There are many seats where minorities are in majority and BJP has won them, almost whole north east has gone to BJP where Christians are in majority. Many seats where Muslims are in majority have also gone to Modi. Unlike Muslims, Hindus dont consolidate their vote so it basically means that many people belonging to minorities also voted for Modi. Do u think they would have done this if they believed Modi will kill them all?

Why you are soo much concerned about a Indian elections where Indians elected their leaders ?

It was the revolutionary schemes that gave them votes and majority of Muslim ladies also voted for him.
Because the amendement that brought by PM Modi will now ensure honour of Muslim ladies .
And he already put forward the agenda also.
Now on only two type of people in India.
Those who suffers the poverty and those who are fighting against poverty.
He will hand pick brightest minds for that mission.
