I would say Asian nations can only match the western hegemony if we get into EU & NATO kind of relationship between China India Iran Pakistan and Russia. I know we do not have a hope to be friendly atleast in next 50 years. but still if Disputes resolves West and Asia unites, it will be the end of Western hegemonic design

Not possible, as both India and China compete for resources to sustain their own development. Plus Indian attempts of allying with China with gestures in Korean war were responded with 1962 war, not much change in the mentality since then.

Any peace between India and China will be momentary like the one between Russia and China

Not possible, as both India and China compete for resources to sustain their own development. Plus Indian attempts of allying with China with gestures in Korean war were responded with 1962 war, not much change in the mentality since then.

One cannot exclude blame for the actions of the Chinese vis-a-vis poor Indian diplomacy with them. So to say that it was all their fault does in essence leave statements like the one made by the Chinese General hollow even if they are not to be.

Again, I dont talk of this in terms of a grand conspiracy but rather policy laid out with 3-5-10 years in mind keeping in view their(the west) best interests based on the time and on a constant reappraisal with changing times.
