I support Bush a LOT!
and i can prove to you why he was the right man for the job at the right time.
See, while the world is busy critisizing Bush for everything from why they dont have toilet paper in their homes to the war on terror, they miss out certain things.
It was Bush after 9/11 who actually took terrorism seriously. It was Bush who went to war in Afghanistan and Iraq. It is Bush who finally understoof the problems of India wrt terrorism. He was the one who made Pakistan turn around with its open embrace of terrorists. He is the man who is systematically breaking the terrorist infrastructure, freezing terrorist bank accounts, etc. Before this terrorists used to roam around like free citizens. Now imagine without Bush, most of the above things would not have happened. Pakistan would still be supporting the terrorists, opely, etc, etc, etc.
I credit him for giving a serious fight to terrorism in all forms. He has helped India in soo many ways by just gong about his own business. Any other president would not have gone to war so easily. Though it was in our interest that he goto war whether you recognise it or not. The war in Iraw may not have gone like it should have, but atleast the war is there, there is dearth of jehadis in the world. They are being killed by America left right and center. Bush is doing exactly what India should have done 15 years ago. Go right at the source, but only at terrorist places. Bush has taken a stand, every1 complains when there is a bombing in their nation, but no1 does anything about it.
Our govt cannot use the military to further its political objectives, one of the things Indira Gandhi was excellent at. One of the reasons why i admire her. W e should have had the balls to go in to Pakistan inspite our losses to hit at training camps of terrorists. Though every1 thinks Pakistan would'v tried using nukes on us.But ladies and gents, nuking isnt a simple option, there are seere repricussions on whoever nukes first from the world. The world would not have forgiven Pakistan if it nuked India in any form. And in return it would have been anhilated. Keeping these things into considerations, it is almost certain the Pakistani govt would not have dared use nukes against India, for fear of repricussions from India, no matter how quick it is in its statements to say that they would not hesitate, etc.
Bush is doing, EXACTLY what India could not. God bless him. He is also the one who is actually trying to contain china. He has seen that India will be kingmaker of sorts in the future. Third largest economy to either US or China in whihever positions. No country can defeat the other one without our support. Thus he is trying to cultivate a relationship with India NOW, so that a few decades down the line, India thinks of US as its natural ally like Russia is now.
