The Naxal/maoist problem IS a national security issue.

Let us tackle this issue first. Why is the Naxalite movement a national security issue and the Hindtuvadi movement not one ?

Various elements of the Hindutvadi movement have been involved in various types of crime : bombings, assassination of progressives, rioteering, murder of a student, upholding anti-human ideas and spreading of disharmony in the country. Why are they not punished ? Are these elements not a national security issue ?

One of the culprits in the 2008 Malegaon bombing case, Lt. Col. Shrikant Purohit has been even taken back into the army. Another co-culprit, Sadhvi Pragya, is now a member of the national parliament. What is happening in the country ?

It may well be the case that investigations into Swamy have led to more information.

An American computer forensics company, Arsenal Consulting, has analyzed the hard disks of some of the accused in the Bhima Koregaon case and found that the computers of the accused had been hacked and some documents planted which supposedly showed interactions with the Naxals.

The government did not kill him, he died of old age and covid in a hospital getting good care.

Among other things he had Parkinson's and had asked the jail authorities for a sipper because he couldn't drink properly. And the sipper was denied. I myself once had Bell's Palsy which had left one side of face paralyzed so I can understand.

@CAPRICORN-88, I will add to Drizzt's post that there are about 200,000 government military / paramilitary personnel ranged against the Naxals who number in thousands. The government personnel include air force, CRPF, regular police and special police commandos from all those states where the Naxals fight, or as the words used by the Establishment and its supporters : "Naxal-infested areas". "Infested" as if it's some disease. Other than government forces there are also militias comprising of anti-Naxal villagers.

starving lower caste tribal these criminals run 1500 crore annual extortion business, run kangaroo courts and kill people, sexually exploit tribal girls, are armed with light machine guns (LMGs), not let any development be it roads or communication tower reach poor tribals.
