Nine out of 10 Americans have an unfavourable view of Iran, making it the worst rated country out of 22 surveyed.

Seven other countries - Libya (72%), Iraq (76%), Afghanistan (80%), the Palestinian Authority (77%), Syria (75%), Pakistan (81%) and North Korea (84%)-- also receive unfavourable ratings of 70% or more.

"Eight countries with the most negative ratings are currently or over the past decade were involved in wars, disputes, or turmoil -- in a number of instances, in ways that are hostile to the US," GallUP said.

Muslim Majority countries lead the way in unfavorable opinions for the US -- Coincidence?? Not at all, US and Muslim majority countries have discovered a mutual dislike and hostility - long may it work it's magic

Personally I dont care they like us or not.Their attitude towards us in the past was not so favorable and nobody can confirm their present view will not change in the next decade or so.

Personally I dont care they like us or not.Their attitude towards us in the past was not so favorable and nobody can confirm their present view will not change in the next decade or so.

The US doesn't care about friends. It cares about where it's self interest lies and every country does that. In my opinion, the US is going to be more favorable towards India in the coming decades, but I could be wrong.

why = cause they keep there national and relegeous agenda to themselfs and in everyhost nation they pay taxes ,never try the host nation to follow there principals or agitate about the coustoms and life style of the host nation and never indulge in roiting , traficking or terorrism but same cand be said about the people from land of the pure

The only thing most Americans know about India is that it is a democracy and the US is not at war with it.

I'll bet most Americans wouldn't even make the connection between yoga and chicken tikka to India.

but they will definitely make a connection when IT outsourcing issue is raised. but hey, why do u think that they wont know the connection between yoga and india ??? its kinda obvious. if they dont, then i guess they dont know india's (or pakistan's) existence in the map.
