Let's see,
Pakistan is on the front of the war on terrorism, we should be grateful for the security we already have. The terrorist attacks this week have been devastating and tragic: but out of a population of 190 million (excluding 5m+ illegal immigrant) with many sympathisers and sleeper cells - it is impossible to stop every single attack. If you were to learn how many disasters are foiled by our security forces, you'd be stunned.

We shouldn't bash our security forces, they have sacrificed and bled more than any other institution in the world while fighting this cancer. Our own people are giving a blind-eye to the menacing radicalization around our society and throwing all the burden on our security forces.

These attacks were very well-coordinated, planned for months and initiated in sudden bursts to make it seem like 'terrorism is back' in Pakistan. But it also shows how much they have been weakened, they once had the power to attack GHQ but now are going after soft and undefended targets like mosques, shrines, protests and schools. Stand with our security forces and actually play a part in combatting this cancer, instead of blaming those who have sacrificed more than you ever could.

The current prime minister..Nawaz Sharif legally tried to turn the country into Taliban emirate by attempting to pass 15th resolution during his earlier tenure..which would have significantly curbed individual liberty, tolerance and respect for other religion....for his disgusting sick mentality a self respecting nation would expect him to be banned from any public office forever..yet he is back..and with majority..speaks volumes..!

I don't think any of this will work. @somebozo don't you think you've missed a fundamental point here. Sure you've fought with the likes of TTP but this time it's ISIS. You think you have it in you to defeat ISIS? Hell America and all of west had to come together to make some breakthrough. You alone- I don't see a chance of that happening.

1. Pakistan came on the forefront of these wars due to its own failed policies made in the past. We had no choice either to go with the allies or be part of the axis.
2. India has a population exceeding billions and their insurgencies are also mega scale..with the largest conflict being Kashmir..yes despite the larger population and insurgency size they have contained everything well. The more remarkable fact that Kashmir conflict has not spilled over into any major metropolis..there are no bomb blast going on in India by Kashmir separatist...
3. Its not a matter of joke when LEA announce a certain area to be clear and next month we know hundreds of terrorist flocking from this area..the core of the problem goes down to the very ideology imposed by state...!

State security as we say is not a privilege or a five star luxury it is an essential pillar of society. LEA and security forces are tax payer funded by the public therefore they have every right to question their performance or as you say bash them too. Especially in the light of facts that the wave of terrorism is a by product of collusion between our security forces and terrorism. The LEA and security establishment of this country are deeply infiltrated by terrorist and there is not much solid action been taken by intelligence agencies. A citizen and tax payer reserves every right to criticize their LEA and security establishments over their failure, demand accountability and even serve harsh punishments..

Again you make the terrorist sound like some kind of master minds and global strategist...yet with all the resources at state and LEA disposal it seems they are incapable to keep an eye on few suspect locations well know to be terrorist hot bed...if they had the power to attach GHQ and naval bases..it is not a matter of glory for the terrorist but rather shame for the LEA..because these attacks happened with insider support..no soldier leaves home to be killed...this is false phenomena which has been sold to the nation by glorification of shaheed..the fact that Pakistan is losing is precious soldiers in failed strategy of combating terror should be question..the loss of life to soldiers is excessive and unexplained...anyone who disagree should look at america combat statistics in Afghanistan versus our own..they are fighting a full blown war and we are fighting a rag tag insurgency! the death ratio on our side is excessive...!

ISIS heavily depends on Saddam era intelligence and military officers as well as deserters from Syrian army..true they will pop up everywhere as propaganda..but for them to actually fight and hold ground is impossible..! ISIS is very different from Taliban and Al Qaida and tends to be very Arab centric with strong racism among its ranks..look at few Indians who joined ISIS

The prime cause of terrorism is false glorification of past and present terrorist. Second fold of the problem is influx of destructive foreign culture...wether it is blasphemy laws or eid milad..nothing has been done to curb it so far..Ashura processions, Eid Milad celebrations, keep growing in their pomp and glory extravaganza each year...demanding holidays for khalifa death anniversary, no issues we will comply..wether it is youm e ali or youm e farooq...regardless of its cultural and social implications..such events only lead to divide nation further...breed communal-ism and eventually outright brutal violence...the country is stuck is permanent competition of Shia having something or sunni not having something..we will turn to Syria very soon..no body agrees to look at cultural aspects of religion..its too holy..! If arabs shat in a plate..we would call it holy too!

Terrorism breeds in individual mind, when like minded thought together they explode in a form of terrorism!
As long as religion remains core political ideology of this country, we will only fare worst..!

The problem with Pakistan is the state apparatus not heroes of textbooks. The police and judiciary have to play the main role here, not the ARMY. Violent preachers must be dealt with on regular basis, by the police. The state apparatus should sue whenever religious leaders become extremist. Use softpower like shaming, media pressure, property control, endless law suits, in order to demoralize.

Every civillization fluctuates between order and disorder. The 20th century was the islamic century of humiliations. Present unrest in the muslims world is foreplay of the new muslim renaissance.

I have one question your obection on eid milad Nabi (s.a.w) did sunni ever hurt any body in Pakistan they are only victims and wahabi and deobandi who are real culprits never ever been targeted in last 16 years saudi and irani funding is responsible for the terrorism not the eid milad Nabi thanks
