if China and India rose 10 or 20 years earlier then the oil price will never tumble to that extent, and USSR will be still alive and kicking. more than that, URRS would be the no. 1 economic entity to, if the Ruble USD exchange rate remain the same as 1990(1 USD=0.6 Rub).
