What's new

In love with girl from Pakistan, Maharashtra boy tries to cross border using Google Maps

One more thing re: the bold part, based on the real life experiences of this now ageing roué:

@Bilal9, we have another member from whom can be learned the art of charming the ladies. Shantanu seems to be a retired playboy.

Today's beard-obsessed kids in India have got it all wrong. Putting the cart before the horse! I am a great lover of beards, but you really need to earn it. That's my old-fashioned belief.

Exactly ! A beard is like a cravat. Not everyone can wear either of them. It has to suit them.

Nothing pains me more than the sight of an immature Indian kid with a longer beard than Mirza Ghalib.

This is an insult of beards!

Agreed.

I really like you, man! Great to know you. Stay blessed

ooooooOOOO.

Another victim of online love.

We didn't have Facebook back in the day and the .net was kinda new too. But, I always played it smart. I would just ask my lady friends to introduce me to their H-O-T friends. That way, you know the package you're getting and at the same time know that she isn't looking for a marriage proposal - before the appetizers arrive.

I honestly do not know how to respond to that one.

I don't want to insult the guy who nearly died of dehydration, getting caught by the Border Police and for a girl who was probably talking to another guy while he was being rescued .

This guy has to live with thought that everytime his family sends a marriage proposal for a girl (in India) - the receiving end will be like, "Aren't you the one who got caught trying to enter Pakistan, for another girl you never met".

@Imran Khan [Peer, aap bhe kuch bolo]

. . .
That's the most important part. Why would any one risk his life for a girl he just met online. Maybe video-chatted with her, but that's not reason enough to take such a stupid decision.

Indian kids of today's generation have turned into complete cuckolds. Two-timing by girls is acceptable to them because they are so despo.

I was a 90's kid in India, before the Internet era, and it was surely not like that then. Any girl that was two-timing would be publicly humiliated. Boys would get into fights with each other over a girl.

In today's India, they have a "dostana" mindset where the two young fellas share a girl, but will not break their friendship. LOL. Also the girl will be cheating on them, as a side job.
Sir, you're simply describing righteous and ongoing women's liberation from the evils of mono-andry. Women very much have a God given right to do this in the social media era.

I know that the times have changed. I got away doing stuff with girls in my 20's that I can't imagine doing now in the social media age! :cheesy: I'm just an ageing roue with plenty of happy memories
