but why do you want to limit their progress?? there is that japan's "cat island" city for example.

Lack of food or scarcity of it actually decreases their breeding willingness. Also, if food are scarce they will migrate to somewhere else. Also, animals do live in regions where there are a scarcity of water and food, some die but they become food for others.

@jamahir The above reason is why I wanted them to stop feeding cats.

Yeah, 'cause screw the endangered bird populations because irresponsible human wants to introduce cats everywhere.


Its an island so the damage is contained but look at Australia to see what happens when it gets out of control, the cats become bigger and more violent overtime and many other species (including endangered ones) suffer as a result.

Not just cats, stray dogs too. But what I noticed was that dogs have ear tags. This means some ogvt agency is keeping a count of them.

The stray dogs got killed in the past which let to protests, after that there was a goverment program (in whole country if i remember correctly) to sterilize the dogs instead of killing, the tags are marking if the dogs are already sterilised or not.
But i dont remember such a program for cats though.
