About the democracy thing..Israel is a democracy because they hold general elections, otherwise it's an oppressive system that tolerates freedom of expression in a limited area of human affairs. Their economic brilliance is also somewhat overrated. They live on charity made by manipulated and brainwashed nations like the USA and Germany.

Exactly right. For economic reasons, people will migrate anywhere.

There are TREMENDOUS racial problems within Israel with the Ashkenazi Jews claiming they are solely responsible for the country's progress and the others are just along for the ride, even a drain on the country. Israel's internal tensions are only held in check by the specter of external threats.

The carefully crafted image of Israel is one of the biggest scams to fool people that Israel is "like the West".

Do we need to dig up the cases where Israeli courts legalized racial discrimination against Arabs, where migrant workers are required to sign contracts denying sexual contact with Jewish females (even prostitutes), etc.
