'In China, Indians are perceived as enemies'

How long can you keep justifying your actions based on 1959 ? Any country with a liberal outlook will allow peaceful political activity of any group that feels genuinely threatened in its homeland.

The Tibetan government in exile already admitted themselves that they were training anti-Chinese militants from the 1960's onwards, which was after they were hosted by India in 1959.

And no, the "New York Times" is not Chinese communist propaganda.

If your definition of Anti-Chinese militants = Tibet Monks, well yes.

Why don't you read the source. It was the Tibetan government in exile themselves who used the phrase militants, and they certainly were not talking about monks.

Not much of a surprise though, Indira Gandhi also trained LTTE terrorists on Indian soil.

India has no moral authority to talk about this after proliferating Nuclear technology to N Korea and Pakistan. :)

We did help Pakistan, but not N.Korea.

Let us see some evidence please ?

Well, some of whom could be terrorists/separatists in disguise.

Can you please enlighten me with all the terror actions from the Tibet Monks. And BTW, we dont have a problem in India with separatists but we do have a problem with terrorists.

So this is the peaceful riot by your definition?

Then we ought support 'the peaceful Maoist rebels' as well. :coffee:

Agreed LTTE was a strategic miscalculation that backfired when India tried with IPKF under Rajiv Gandhi leading to his assassination. But hey, lets look at the Chinese record too. :P

1. Crackdown on Tibetans for following their culture in Tibetan. We should remember that Dalai has stopped asking for a separate homeland and only seeks autonomy but Chinese accuse him of virtual terrorism (WTF? does that mean ?) and say that this is separatism in long run

2. Crackdown on Uyghur's in Xinjiang because they are not Han Chinese.

LTTE is a cross-border terrorist group, which Indira Gandhi supported. They killed civilians in neighbouring countries.

There is no comparison at all, to the internal social unrest in Xinjiang.

Internal social unrest, describes things like the 1984 anti-Sikh riots or the 2002 Gujarat riots.

When an Indian boy goes to a Chinese village, people think that he may be an evil person. So they don't really pay attention to what he might be saying or wearing but rather keep wondering about what he may be thinking.

I thought that was true of Chinese everywhere. I suppose that may be because the written language is ideographic rather than alphabetical...

Indian members dont fall in trap of chinese members, ltte was declared terrorist organisation first by india and much later by sri lanka, before that india was only doing what nato did in support of libyan rebels.
